Description of Work: Top notch quality and service. Gary has serviced units on both my old and new home. Recently my 16 yr old heat pump was damaged beyond repair. Gary and his crew replaced the heat pump with 3 days, it would have been sooner but there was a scheduling conflict on my part. I will definitely use Affordable Quality Air Conditioning again.

Description of Work: Woke up to a warm kitchen and living room. We were new to the area and used the List to determine who to call at 8AM. Gary was at our place within an hour. He thought he identified the main problem and fixed it, only to find out that our unit needed just a little more work. He described the problem and left to go buy the appropriate materials and was back and had our A/C running before 11AM. Very professional/courteous and put up with my questions while he worked. Have him on speed dial for any future HVAC issues I may encounter.

Description of Work: A/C went completely out.. ripe for an exploitative experience... Mr. Tooker came out on a Sunday morning, quickly diagnosed a defunct "capacitor", had that item on his truck, and had it replaced all within 20 minutes... I think he must have used at least $30 in gas round trip from Ocean Springs, had a helper with him, on a Sunday as I mentioned, and only charged $150... totally made my day..

Description of Work: We needed 2 service dates. Gary first replaced something...sorry I can't be more specific...and got the 11-year old unit working again. For about 2 weeks! It wasn't his fault. If my husband would have been here at the first service to tell him more of the "symptoms" instead of my describing noises, I have every confidence that Gary would have correctly diagnosed all the problems in one call! Gary came back on a Sunday evening and installed a new motor that had "seized". We're thrilled that Gary has us limping along again. We know that our AC system is slightly less than adequate for the square footage of our home but it "came" with the house. When we've wrung the last bit of coldness from that unit, we will likely purchase the correct size from Gary at Affordable.

 + -1 moreWhen I realized that there was no heat pumping through my unit, I made a call to Mr. Tooker who answered my call promptly and responded to my residence within the hour. He took a look at the outside unit and immediately showed me why the unit was pumping warm air. A rely had gone bad in the outside unit which he quickly repaired. He then conducted a thorough inspection of the hvac to ensure all was working normal. Mr. Tooker was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He was quick to respond to my residence to fix the problem and was fair in his price. I would definitely recommend his services in the future.

 + 0 moreThe son's of Mr. Tooker came out and looked over the A/C leak from the attic. They gave detailed explanation of why it was leaking and even showed where the problem was. These guys were great!!! I had already gone through 3 other companies before I decided to join Angies List. I joined Angies List in hopes to find a creditable company that doesn't over-charge or up-sell. trying to make an extra buck! I am a single mom on a tight budget and have been taken advantage of in the past. They made my day, they had the leak fixed quick! I have never in my life experienced the great customer service this company showed. When I thought customer service had no longer existed they proved otherwise! THANK-YOU Affordable Quality Air! They were able to do the repair without me being there too which was important for me. They did everything independently without me having to stand there and watch everything that they were doing. They were very reliable and honest. I spent $2800. They are reliable. The prices are good.

At that time the technician put some sort of "power booster" on the outside unit to stop it from tripping the circuit breaker all the time. This year that device was stopping my unit from working. Affordable Quality Air Conditioning arrived within 30 minutes of my call. He found the problem and fixed it very quickly! The cost of his service call was very reasonable and I am just ecstatically happy. I will most definitely use them again if/when the need arises.

Turns our the drain pipe was clogged and the secondary drip pan was full. Gary air blasted the main drip pipe and the water cleared out. Turns out we should have been putting bleach down the drip pipe once a month. Gary is professional, courteous, and quick. I highly recommend him.
