Affordable Quality Air Cond

Description of Work: I called this vendor in response to a tenant's issue with the AC unit. Upon inspection, the thermostat was determined to be bad and was changed. This lasted about a month, but the tenants again had issues. Another call was made and the vendor went back out, but really didn't know what to think of my four-year-old unit's issue. After some adjustments, another small expense was incurred and the vendor left. The next day, however, problems again. The vendor was at a loss. I talked to a retired HVAC friend of my husband's and he suggested that maybe we received a bad thermostat, so I asked the vendor to change it again. This did not solve the problem and the vendor seemed to be up in arms about what to do. Not a fun thing to hear. I sat down, thought about the situation for a few minutes and decided to sent a friend to the house with a specific task (inspect all of the piping in the attic and re-tape any loose connections). My friend did as I asked and the tenant has not had any problems since. I am obviously not an expert in HVAC or I would have fixed the issue myself, but I am very frustrated with the fact that an experienced HVAC technician couldn't solve my problem. The $225 of approximate cost of service only includes the first and second service call, not the third call and second thermostat. This was a request that I specifically told him to do. As clarification, I never interacted with this vendor in person, but the tenant did and they may have a different opinion of his work, however, I can not speak for them.

Description of Work: I called a little after 9am and Gerald was there by 9:30....very responsive! They were very thorough, but very quick as well. Gerald explained the problem, why it happened, how to fix it and answered questions I had. They repaired my system's problem and now my A/C is working great, maybe even better than before. I was genuinely surprised when I saw the bill too. I was expecting it to be much much more. I chose to go with this company because of the reports I read on Angie's list and, man, am I glad I did. I couldn't be happier and can't recommend them enough!
