had already figured out. The chimney was a botched job. I will probably have to repay this contractor to redo the job. and he finally responded on the second call. He sent some guy who was not even involved in the original job and who simply went up on the roof and validated Hodges work without any checks. I called another roofing contractor and he validated what I Mr. Hodges showed up on the appointed day with the gentleman to flash the chimney and another to replace the damaged ceiling and paint it. I assumed both jobs had gone well until the first rain. I thought I could hear drops of water hitting the ceiling but I was not sure, so I waited for a heavier rain on a future day. It came and water was pouring in around the chimney in the living room. I called Mr Hodges

Repair missing shingles on roof and repair leaks. Replace damaged ceiling tiles and painting in two interior rooms. Mr. Hodges accepted a large down payment in advance for interior work and it took more than a year for him to come an do the work. All work was satisfactory when finally completed.
