Description of Work: Mike came to our home and was very prompt. We discussed bathroom remodel, painting, etc... adding a closet in BR. He had great ideas and told me he would get back with an estimate in a week or two...It has been over a month and we have heard nothing from him. Why do contractors feel there is no need to respond to the customer? This is the second contractor promising to call but didn't. Even if they cannot, or do not want to do the job, at least let the customer know something so no more time is wasted.

Description of Work: The provider did not do anything as he never bothered to call me back.

Description of Work: I called to describe work to be done. I was told two brothers, Greg and Mike. they were to call and set up an appointment. They never did call. I assumed they weren't interested probably based on race. He could have just stated they were unabel for whatever reason.

+ 4 moreThey did great job. Whenever the Shirley brothers contract a job for us, we know it will be top quality work. Job took about 5 months to finish. They do all the carpentry work themselves, just the two of them. It may be slower than other companies, but it is done right. they also installed the metal roof themselves and did all the finish carpentry themselves.
Description of Work: added 20 X 30 room with 9 ft ceilings with partially covered patio on one side. Had to remove and replace septic tank since patio covered original septic tank. Also built 1/2 bath on to room. outside wall is brick veneer, roof is metal.. wall on patio side is stone veneer. patio is covered with pavers.had to run water line and septic line for bathroom, also had to reroute water line for sprinklers around new foundation. New room has custom cabinets for 55 inch flat screen and has gas fireplace on one end. had to raise floor level of sunroom on back of house to floor level of rest of house and also removed most of wall between sunroom and rest of house. also installed crown molding throughout house at the same time.

+ 9 moreThey did an excellent job! If anything, this project was overbuilt. This is the 3rd project that the Shirley brothers have done for me and they do excellent work. I had to wait in line to get them for this last project, but it was definitely worth it.
Description of Work: Removing a wall from the back of the house, raise the floor in sunroom to level of rest of house, remove brick veneer and windows of sunroom and apply sheetrock. Add a 20 X 30 ft room to back of house with a bathroom and porch and patio. remove skylights from Great Room, fill and insulate shafts. open up walls between kitchen and sunroom and great room and sunroom. add crown molding to 9 original rooms of house.
