Description of Work: I called and talked to him on the phone about a 220 wiring problem that I was having. He told me that he was heading out of town but would be able to be there at 4:00 the next day. He did not show. He did not call. I called him three times and got an answering machine each time. I left a message each time with my phone number (which he already had). He never returned my call. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM! They are completey unreliable.

+ -1 moreCalled Garretts for two reasons (1) they are the closest to my home (I live in the country) and (2) we had used them previoudly and were satisfied with the work. The arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem and installed a new balance in my light.
Description of Work: My flourescent light in the kitchen stopped working - I tried replacing the bulbs but that didn't work. I knew it wasn't the starter- so I assumed it was the "balance". They came and replaced it.

+ -1 moreI've been using him for about 14 years. He is very personable and reasonable. He is efficient and exactly what you want for an electrician. He has worked on a number of jobs and places for me and I have never been disappointed. He will come in emergencies and even on the weekends if he has to. I will never use anyone else!
Description of Work: He's doing some wiring for me in my office.
