He doesn?t show up, but then he shows up in the middle of the night. Most annoying is that I paid him some money in advance and then he doesn?t show up for work. He always has personal excuses for why work isn?t getting done, and he throws tantrums. The window sills that he built pushed water back into the building, and he never corrected the problem- he gave up after trying once. His electrical is unprotected and the wiring is too close to the power nailer. I have given him several chances and am tired of his incompetence. He won?t return calls when I call to find out why he isn?t on site. This project has been dragging since January, and it was suppose to be done in 3 months. I have told him that he cannot drink on the job, but he continued to do so. The building has a lot of wood, so I have also asked that he and his workers not smoke, but they continually do and leave tobacco dip and cigarette butts in the building. I have hired a new contractor to complete the job.
