Jack made an appointment with me to show up at 4:00 PM on 8/11/14. I told him that my husband will be working with him. Fifteen minutes later, my husband called him to find out if he is still showing up. He said "no". And did not want to entertain our business. by rescheduling the appointment. My comments about this potential transaction are: 1. The company should not make a business appointment that they can't keep. It is a waste of our time. It is a bad way of doing business definitely. 2. If you can't make the appointment, then call and explain. It is the decent thing to do! It si the professional way of doing business! Definitely, I can't recommend this company to my friends and to others.

. Very professional, well price, work on time, cleaned up every day after that days work was done. Was able to live in home while work was being performed. Very polite young men with lots of knowledgeable about his craft.

Mr Taylor inspected skylight, determined that it needed resealing, and did so. It no longer leaks.

He did a very good job. I will use him again in the future.

Jack Taylor is actually out of Mississippi, but he was relocating over here for the house in Baton Rouge. It was a lot of work done in the house, especially with the floors. He made sure the crew cleaned up every time after they finished, so we were all in pretty good shape whenever they finished for the day. When we had any complaints, he took care of it. While they were putting in the kitchen floor, there was something that wasn't done quite right and he wasn't here when they were doing it. When he came back, we explained our concern. He made the workers take up a part of the floor and start all over again. He was a good person to work with. I used him after my ex-wife used him and she was quite pleased with him. His honesty seemed to be the biggest factor working with him and I would certainly recommend him to anyone else. He did sub-contract to some people and we had some complaints about 2 of the main plumbers. They seemed to charge a little bit excessive for what their share of the work was, but he took it off of our bill what we considered the excessive amount. I guess he short bid himself. I would use him again in the future. I feel like I have a new house now.

I do believe his hourly or by the job rate is expensive. Unfortunately, carpenters with ability are almost nonexistent in this area today. His work is excellent. I had looked for a qualified person for three years. But I must say in this area it is by word of mouth that service people are found. Not all of us have contacts to do this. This is why you are needed! A project manager at Lowe's said he paid a carpenter $35 per hour two years ago. Possibly the "going rate" for a master carpenter. I must add there are very few of them.
