I got several estimates and decided to let this company roof my house The new roof looked good. Then it rained off and on for a couple of weeks or more. I noticed a stain on garage wall, and when i touched it, the sheetrock was soft and wet- the new roof was leaking. I could not get them to come out and repair the roof. I ended up having to call another roofer to determine which part of roof area was leaking. It turned out to be a valley where the shingles were not laced correctly. I ended up paying 500.00 out of pocket to repair the job.

My roof was 25 years old, was not leaking, but I decided it was time to replace it anyways. A few weeks earlier, Ryan replaced my neighbors roof in about a day, so I had my wife call him up and come out and give us an estimate. The work scope was to include removing the old shingles, removing the old tar paper, and replacing any bad decking. I would pick up the cost of replacing the decking as required. A week later, he came out and re-roofed the entire house while I was at work in one day. I paid him and everything was great until the first rain came along. A few weeks later, we had a good rain, and I noticed that the drywall on one of my bedroom s ceilings was getting soaked. I threw some buckets under it to at least keep my carpet and lower floors in good shape. My wife tried calling Ryan for several days as the rain continued to come down. After several messages, Ryan finally answered and gave some teary eyed story why he couldn't come out and repair the roof for a few more days. A few more days later he came out and performed a quick fix. Even though the roof had a five year guarantee, and it never leaked in its first 25 years, he took no responsibility for the ceiling failure. Looking at the decking, which was buckled, he just threw some shingles over it, and you could see where to keep the outside appearance looking good, he didn't even hammer the nails around this spot all the way down (I guess to keep the roof line straight and crisp). I now have a roof with a quick fix which will ultimately fail, a large hole in my bedroom ceiling where the drywall fell down, and a five year warranty that isn t worth the paper it is written on.
