POP-A-LOCK OF JACKSON

I contacted them to re-key the house I'm moving into. I was told the person should be here around 10:00 am. By 12:45 not only had no one shown up but I had not even received a courtesy call or text. I've been sitting waiting for nothing. I contacted another company who said they would be here within the hour so I canceled the request with Pop-A-Lock.

I called around 8:45 pm. The representative who handled the call took all my pertinent information- name, address, cell number and assured me that a technician would arrive in 30 minutes. She also stated that the tech would call when in route. After waiting for an hour without any type of courtesy call, I realized that no one was coming. I am so grateful for A-1 Lock and Key to the rescue. Since it was after hours, the owner had the business phone transferred to his cell. He couldn't come but referred me to Rapid Unlocking Service. David from Rapid arrived in 15 mins. He was courteous and professional. I highly recommend Rapid and A-1 based on their customer service alone. Don't waste you time with Pop-A-Lock of Jackson!

It went pretty well.

The guy that came out was very professional and knew exactly what he was doing. In less than 30 minutes, he had me a new key made for my car and my two remotes programmed. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone! Very happy customer!!!

Can't imagine how this service gets an and quot;A.and quot; I'm glad I didn't have an emergency. My kitchen door lock was broken and I could not get into the garage without going outside. I called at 9:30 or 10:00 in the morning from work. Receptionist said an owner would call me back at the work phone number I gave. Left work early and called again at 3:00 pm because I had received no response. I gave my cell phone number and was again told an owner would call. By 6:00 pm still no call from Pop A Lock. I gave up an called another locksmith who responded immediately. It is now a day and one half later and still no call from Pop A Lock. Perhaps when Pop A Lock does do work, it may be excellent, but if there is a problem with availability or scheduling, the receptionist or answering service should say so right up front.

They are very nice, prompt, and confidential. They did a great job. The price was also reasonable. I called them back later about a lock for a piece of furniture I have. They came back out and tried to open the lock even though it wasn't their specialty.
