Great-price was great for higher SEER system and job was completed quickly. Haven't had anr problems with it!

The technician showed up on time and completed the work quickly. They were friendly and professional.

My main contact was Michael. He was very professional all the way, and was very helpful whenever I needed information. His team was prompt and courteous. My system (a mobile home central heat & air, with gas heat and electric AC, no on/off switch) is on a two-wire control, so they were unable to install a Digital Control, which requires a five-wire control. When offered the option of having my 24-year-old trailer rewired or keeping the old control, I chose to keep the old control, which I am comfortable with. Otherwise, they did everything promptly and professionally, going above and beyond to deal with the gas/electric combination. I am VERY pleased with them, and will be calling them from now on whenever I need any help.

One of my A/C units went out. Long story short, it needed to be replaced. I got three quotes and Modern Air was in the middle. Mike explained the details of the quote in its entirety. They arrived on time, finished early, and left no evidence they had ever been there. The entire experience went smoothly and the team was professional and accommodating to my hectic work schedule. When the other A/C unit went out a month later, I didn't hesitate to contact them again. As for the products, they installed Trane units and I've had no issues. I highly recommend them!

Robert was very professional and was able to diagnose the problem which included the inside air handler transformer and the outside unit fan relay. Unfortunately He did not have the fan relay on is truck so he had to go to Jackson to get it which cost us a $45.00 trip fee. I was not real excited about the trip fee but paid it without arguing since he did have to make the 1hr round trip. It was very refreshing not to have the tech and office personell try to sell us a new system which is what happend to us 7 years ago with this system. We will recommend to our friends and neighbors and use Modern Air for our future Heat/AC needs.

I contacted Modern Air after our 30 year old A/C stopped working. The sales person, Michael, met me at the house less than two hours after my first call (on Tuesday), and spent quite a bit of time looking over my situation, discussing alternatives to our needs, and potential issues we could encounter when updating the system on our 90 year old house. He had a quote back to me that afternoon. Their price was very competitive from the beginning, as I also got a quote from one of the other highly reputable firms in the area. We finalized the details of the equipment and installation the next day (Wednesday) and Michael went through a couple more iterations of optimizing the system for our house and goals for cost, efficiency, temperature, & humidity control. They arrived with four guys at 8:45am the next morning (Thursday) and completed then entire removal & installation in 4 hours. We have been thoroughly impressed by Modern Air, and will have no problem using them again or referring them. They were professional, fair, and responsive at every step.

Estimator came to investigate a ceiling leak. He found that our 23 year old unit had rusted out and recommended that we replace the unit. He then explained our options (types, prices, etc.) and let us decide which we preferred. We then called to schedule the work. It was promised for a Monday morning. The crew showed up first thing Monday morning, removed the old unit from the attic (where it was at least 120F), installed the new attic unit and installed the outside compressor- all in half a day! Incredibly friendly and professional crew. I even payed the bill over the phone after receiving the invoice the next week. If you want the work done right the first time, call this company.

Wow, they are overcharging for freon. Quoted me at $990 for 22 lbs, or $45 per pound. Plus a $80 dollar service charge. Instead, I purchased 30 lbs for $400, or $13.33 per pound, and had a certified tech charge the system for $80. Maybe I can sell the remaining 8 pounds $40 per pound - and the total cost will only be $160.

The man was very Professional. He definitely knew what he was doing. I will call on these people again when I need help with my AC.

I called Michael at Modern Air Conditioning. I explained that I lived in another state and my elderly Mother's central heat and air and gone out. He sent someone out to assess the problem and let me know that I needed a new unit which I sort of already knew. He then shopped around for the best buy within a pool of quality manufacturers and we settled on a Carrier Unit. He then sent a crew out to install it. What was really special was that he personally went out to inspect the ducting system under my Mom's home, made repairs and adjustments where needed and made sure that my Mother was comfortable and safe. All of this in a 3 day time frame with a weekend included in those three day. You can place a price tag on the equipment and the installation, but this level of customer care is priceless. I would recommend this company to whomever needs Air conditioning or heating work.

The A/C service company I was using and had used for over 20 years apparently did not need or want my business any more because I made appointments with the company of which they did not show up or call. April 24th, I called Modern Air due to the positive ratings noted on Angies list. Modern Air was at my place and fixed my A/C problem right away. The experience with Modern Air was ?A Plus?. June 12th, I had another A/C need and called Modern Air. They were at my house within an hour and halve, fixed the problem. Based on my experience with Modern Air, they are the only company I will be calling for any future air conditioner needs and I highly recommend this company.

Modern Air has worked on my heating/air conditioning system approximately 3 times. They have always done top-notch work. They come out promptly and complete the work that I ask be done, without trying to sell me a new system or trying to add to the workload and thus the bill. (I do need to replace my heating/air and will definitely use Modern Air's services when I do.) They're honest!

They were prompt and fixed the problem. I will definitely call these guys again if I have a problem

Robert called 30 min. before coming. He was very professional and nice. He checked his shoes before coming in each time so he would not track in dirt. He told us what needed to be done and fixed our problem. We had COLD air within just a few min. The cost of his work was fair and we would absolutely use their service again and recommend them.

Came next day. Reasonable price. Working well.

He checked everything. He was GREAT Used one of their Angie's List coupons. I used them because out of a BUNCH of ratings, they had STRAIGHT A's... which they got from me, also.

They were fast, professional and inexpensive compared to some other providers I have used. They get my highest recommendation. I will be using them again.

On the morning that the install was scheduled, Modern Air showed up at just about the exact time they were scheduled to arrive. Before any work began they laid down canvases to protect my carpet and tile. They wasted no time and immediately split up and began removing my existing system. Not long after they began their work, my wife went into labor. I had no choice, I had to leave the three installers in my home and trust them to lock it up when they left. Later that afternoon, my father went by the house to ensure that it was secured. All doors were closed and locked. When my wife and I returned from the hospital the house was exactly as it was before Modern Air arrived. If it were not for a new, perfectly functioning HVAC system, I would not have even been able to tell that work was done.

Completely evaluated needs and provided accurate estimate, on time delivery, removal and installation and up and running before noon , had used them before for periodic maintenance and was always very satisfied. They do a very professional and thorough job and are careful to keep floor and carpets clean.

About 2pm, starting noticing the house warming up a bit. My thermostat is programmed for 76 degrees during the afternoon, and the house temp was at 78. Not paying too much attention to it at first, but about an hour later, it was about 83 degrees, and the thermostat was still at 76. I checked the compressor outside, fan motor was turning, but I did not hear the compressor. I then got on Angie's list and called Modern Air. Initially the receptionist asked if they could schedule someone to come in first thing in the morning. I replied that I had to drive out of town for work, and no one would be home. She said no problem. She got my contact information, and told me that she'll give me a call back shortly. About 5 minutes later, I get a phone call from Modern Air, that someone is on their way. Technician pulled in front of our house about 20 minutes after getting the return phone call, and had my A/C up and running in a little over a half of an hour. Come to find out, that the run capacitor was bad and needed to be replaced. All and all very happy with service and responsiveness. Most importantly, my wife will not have to sweat tonight from a busted A/C. Will be getting quote to replace this 1994 tempstar unit... Technician said we will receive a quote call within 3 business days. Thank you Modern Air.

After a glowing review on 8-6, I would like to take away their "service award." This experience is a failure on their part for customer service. I was able to get another company out at my house by 9pm. This company does not provide "Emergency Service." They closed down completely leaving their customers without service. I will not call them again.

After going through 2 AC companies who could not come out for repair, I went to Angie's list and found this company with a Service Award. I talked to them and I was told they could be at my house in 30 minutes. They arrived promptly and worked professionally. The problem was explained and an estimate given. The unit was repaired and up and running within an hour. They have definitely earned their Service Award and I will use them again.

I called 5 minutes after their regular business hours but they still took the call and made an appointment for the next day. They called the next morning and came out first thing; arriving around 9 am. (we live out in the country so that was good time). By my description of the problem, the technician had an idea of what the problem was so he had the part with him. He checked the unit and replaced the part within 1/2 hour and everything is running fine a month later. The reason I gave a B on the quality is that we had to have this same capacitor replaced 2 years ago. The technician said that since we have an older unit that the replacement parts aren't as good as they use to be. The one thing that bothered me the first time I used this company is that they don't actually give you the final cost before they leave and send you the bill a few days later. Their verbal estimates have been close and I don't feel I have been overcharged but I feel some people would not be comfortable with this billing system. Overall, I was very satisfied and very happy that I could keep my unit working so cheaply for another year and I plan to call them the next time I have an air conditioning issue.
