Fantastic! We have had ongoing problems with small leaks which were patched over the years by a different company. However, with the increasingly severe heavy deluges of rain, sometimes with winds causing hard driven horizontal rain water, in the past two or three years, we needed some top quality professionals who could repair problems with the "new normal" rains we are experiencing around the country. Mr. Sed Bledsoe's team of specialists worked miracles---no more leaks at all in recent storms. They came promptly and with several men working together finished the job in a short time after giving us a good description of work to be done and prices. The total price sounds like a lot, but with four big chimneys now leak free it was well worth it. We are so glad that we found them on Angie's List!

He was punctual, patient and thorough. He took pics of the chimney to show needed repairs and performed repairs to the fireplace floor and hearth. He covered the floors and furnishings prior to cleaning. I was very satisfied with the quality of the work.

I had to pay him for two hours of cleaning at about $180 an hour. He gave me an estimate for $1800 for six hours work over two days. Calling someone else to check the estimate they agreed that it seemed much too much for this work. Looking back on the experience, I should not have let him delay the cost estimate until he had already been at the house an hour.

He was punctual and professional in his appearance. He presented his card and gave me his name. I have light carpet and he covered it well. (I turned off the heat so the fans would not draw any fireplace dust through the house.) He took the time to do a very good job, even brushing down the inside fireplace walls which had not been done by other chimney sweeps. He carefully took up the floor covers and did not spill anything.

It went well. I asked him to clean the chimney which he did. In the process he found problems with the chimney cap. He took photos on his phone and transferred the pictures to me. We agreed on the additional repairs and he made them. His work was professional and he cleaned up after his work.

Chimney Sweep Solutions cleaned my chimney. They were looking at chimney's throughout the neighborhood and they noticed my chimney did not have a cap on it. He offered a cleaning service and the placement of a chimney cap to prevent birds etc... out. They did a great job. The only reason I gave him a "C" on price was because his quote was to high for just to clean vents throughout the house and the drier vent.

Horrible experience!! "Cleaned" the chimney by brushing and vacuuming. When asked about the soot in the fireplace was informed that was an "extra" service and would cost around $ 125 and that we should read our "groupon" coupon. Then supposedly found damage to the fireplace crown and repaired it for $295 dollars. So for an hour of work they made $350 and I was left feeling totally ripped off. I was told if I didn't get the crown repaired right then that if they had to come back it would be more!! In hindsight I should have told them to hit the road and called another company. Beware of these people it feels like a total scam.

This is the second time I have used this company and the Bledsoe's are polite, professional, and do a terrific job. He came in and laid a drop cloth on everything within 15 ft of the fireplace and you couldn't even tell he had cleaned my chimney, he left no mess. The work was complete in about an hour.

He did the job, left me an invoice in the door and he was very nice and professional. He's a very sweet guy. he also swept the chimney, then went back and did more work including putting flashing on top. It was a little expensive but hey I can't reach the chimney. He has all the equipment he needed.
