Description of Work: I called for them to come and fix a leak in the water line where it comes into the house. I had already had this supposedly repaired by another company. The other company had used a rubber gasket type material and what looked like a small radiator type hose clamp and tightened it down but it still leaked. Pounds came and tightened it down more and said there wasn't anything else they could do because it was right next to the gas line. They gave me a senior discount but still charged me $75 for no materials and tightening a clamp ie a basic service call. BTW it still had a drip they knew about when they left.

Description of Work: Water heater hose fitting leak discovered in evening. Located company on Angie's List- read reviews and was able to contact after business hours and plumber was at house within a couple of hours after business opened the next day. Leak was repaired and water heater inspected to determine there were no other problems. I am very pleased with Pounds Plumbing and they are now my Plumber of choice for future plumbing needs.

Description of Work: I recommend Pounds Plumbing to everyone. We thought the hot water heater was going out. Also, the outside faucet was leaking. We found Pounds Plumbing on Angie’s List and called at 11:29 am. Our call was returned at 12:37pm. As it turned our hot water heater is fine and the temperature was adjusted. Also, the outside water faucet was repaired. Both actions were completed by 1:30pm and covered under the basic service call price. Note: The plumbers explained that they are very busy. Therefore, their fast response was based upon my phone call’s timing and the fact that they completed a job very close to our home. We appreciate their professionalism.
