Description of Work: I used Northscape Landscape Design for installing a French drain.

Description of Work: I asked Landscape Design to rehabilitate my front and side lawns. The owner, Jacob North, came to my home and looked over the property, asking very specific questions about what my wife and I wanted to accomplish. He made several alternative recommendations, and when we had decided what we wanted done he prepared a written estimate for the work required. The plan we approved required the removal of a top layer of sandy soil, in which nothing would grow, and the placement of turf over an area roughly 0.25 acre. I also asked the service to install dwarf azaleas along the front of my home and to mulch my existing trees and shrubs and set out jasmine in several areas. Northscape did a great job for us; the entire project was done on time and on budget. Northscape was most professional in the way it scheduled and performed the work. Mr. North is a hands-on owner/manager who not only bid the job but also stayed directly involved in supervising the work from start to finish, and beyond. His work crews were quiet and courteous young men who never failed to leave their work area orderly and neat. The work was first class in every respect. Even after the work was completed and the agreed price had been paid, Mr. North has continued to monitor the health of all the plants Northscape installed for me. He gave me specific and detailed instructions for the care of my new lawn and shrubs (watering schedule, fertilizer treatments, etc.), and he has always been readily available by e-mail, phone, or by text message to answer my questions. Northscape guarantees its work, and Mr. North asks only that I follow the insturctions he has given me concerning the care of my new plants. I am thoroughly satisfied with the work Northscape did for me, and I give them my unqualified recommendation. Northscape is a local (Gulfport, Mississippi) small business, and it was a pleasure to do business with its people.
