Compton's, LLC

By noon on the day of the appointment that the technician was supposed to come out "in the morning", no one had showed up and no one had called. I left my house and did my errands I had put off because I was waiting on the Compton's technician to show up "in the morning". The next day, I called Compton's back to see what had happened. Rebecca, the dispatcher, apologized and explained she had made a mistake and forgot to send someone out to do the service. So, we rescheduled the service for today, August 12th, 2013 at 7:30 am. I woke at 7:00 am this morning and it was raining, so I called Compton's to see if they were still coming out to perform the service in the inclement weather. I got their answering service and was told they didn't know because they are the answering service and no one would be in the office until 8:00 am. 7:30 am and no sign of Compton's to do the scheduled 7:30 am repair service. It's now 8:10 am, no sign of Compton's and no phone call from Compton's - this is starting to look like an exact repeat of what happened to me for the original appointment. I call. Genie answers the phone. I explain to her I had a 7:30 am appointment and no one's shown up or called. She tells me the dispatcher is on a call at that time and asks to put me on hold, which I said yes to. After a moderate wait on hold, she tells me the dispatcher is very busy and asks for my phone number to have her call me back. I gave her my phone number. Twenty minutes later, at 8:30 am, I still have not received a call back. I call Compton's again. Genie answers the phone and I tell her it's me calling again and right away she says hold on just a moment and puts me on hold. Rebecca, the dispatcher picks up and asks if she could put me on hold for a moment. I, very frustrated at this point, tell her yes. Rebecca finally comes back to me on the phone, apologizes because she was supposed to call me this morning (deja vu) because the technician had to go out on another call, has been on that call since 7 or 7:30 am this morning and should be almost done, and he has the replacement part for my unit on his truck - would I like her to call him and ask how much longer he's going to be? I told her no, keep the part. This is the second time in a row that Compton's has wasted my valuable time and to tell Mike Compton (the owner) that I will be looking for another company to service my heat pump from now on. My service call should have been the priority this morning after wasting my entire morning for the original appointment over Rebecca's admitted mistake. At the very least, calling me at 7:30 am this morning should have been a priority to let me know the technician was not going to be able to make the scheduled appointment time, in light of what happened to me on the original appointment. I got neither courtesy from Compton's.
