After having him paint out the interior of my home, which he did do a good job on, Robert convinced me to hire himj for additional services, including insulating and weatherproofing my storage bilding and installing a well and lawn sprinkler system. All of the additional work never got completed, although I did pay him in full. He took my money and ran off without doing the work. He owes me $4,000.00; but it has been over 6 months, and so it is obvious that money is has gone the drain. Robert is a one man operation who occasionally hires day help who look and act like homeless bums, who he leaves alone at the jobsite without supervision. When asked questions, these temps seem to know nothing about the job other than the most obvious details. Robert uses every outrageous excuse in the book for failing to meet production schedules, and he always has some emergency requiring more deposit to be paid. I paid him in full in good faith, and then he never came back. The well and sprinkler jobs were left 10% complete with no well pump and the hole filled in with dirt. The insulation is all falling down, and the roof leaks were never sealed, so my new storage building is falling apart. I wish I had never met Robert Wright!!! I truly regret hiring him. He makes endless empty promises. It will be done by Thursday, this week, next week, today, tomorrow, Tuesday... I gave him extension after extension and was much more patient than I should have been. He simply can not be trusted. He fails to reply to calls of concern when the job goes abandoned for weeks at a time. In the end he just runs off in the night without doing the job and never responds again. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!SAVE YOURSELF and STAY FAR AWAY from Robert Wright!!!!!!
