IRON INNOVATIONS INC

It is unfortunate that I have to so strongly revise my original review. While I was at first blush very pleased with Howard Henderson and Iron Innovations, once they got their money the situation certainly changed. Eight months after we had the gate put in it totally malfunctioned. It is my understanding that the "Mother Board" short circuited. What this meant for us was that we couldn't get the gate to open, and were unable to go to work as we couldn't leave the driveway. We placed and emergency call, several actually, before we got a response. By that time my husband had gone out with the manual and figured out how to get it to open, but of course that meant that it wouldn't close now either. Finally, several days later, a technician came out and determined that the board was fried. It was 8 months old remember. So they ordered another. Several more weeks went by and still no repair, so we called yet again. We were told that they had ordered the wrong part, and would have to reorder the correct one. Several more weeks and finally we have the part installed. Does it work correctly and consistently, absolutely not. But what we did was get a bill for almost $163.18. The whole project was less than 8 months old, and we get a bill for a bad part? But it gets better, my husband called and spoke with Scott who very curtly asked him "well how much do you think you should pay"! How's that for professional! My husband replied nothing, it's under warranty. Well Scott became very unprofessional and my husband ended the conversation. The next month we get another bill, my husband called and had the same conversation with Scott. According to my web search, "Scott" is the owner, Scott Colson. Finally, we have paid $1200.00 to our electrician to correct the problems caused by Iron Innovations installation of the gate and the interference their wiring caused to the internet and telephone service. Apparently they didn't ground the wires and mis-wired several areas. They are by far the worst company to use for professionalism and quality of work.
