 + 0 moreThe HandyMen came on Saturday morning promptly and by Saturday afternoon the jobs were completed. The price was definitely nice which included the materials. The HandyMen were professional, courteous, and I hope to use them again in the future.
Description of Work: The HandyMen tore down and rebuilt part of a wooden fence by replacing boards, adding a gate, and adding painted hardware. Also, The HandyMen cleaned the gutters.

 + 8 moreThe Handymen were pleasant to be around but did not want to remodel or update some things like mooulding and baseboards. After the paint was ruined for the living room, I decided to end the job.
Description of Work: Master bedroom and bathroom was gutted ,dry walled, painted, laminate floor was installed. Hall was painted and laminate floor was laid in hall, dining room, and living room. Sanding was done without closed doors or drop cloths to protect furniture. No drop cloths were used for painting, Floors were damaged with glue. There were no tool to install floors. Living room was painted the wrong color. The same paint roller used to paint the dining room was used in 5 gallons of white paint and it turned all of the paint beige which was the color of the dining room. Paint in bedroom was very unprofessional. The walls looked rough and smeared eventho the drywall was sanded. The true color never came through. They tried to correct it , but to no avail. No drop cloths to protect my furniture and the floors were major concerns. I asked for Lic.and Ins.#, but got nothing. I was told they had both.

 + 0 moreI looked up "The Handymen" in Angie's List. I called Ron White of The Handymen company. He was easy to reach on the phone. Within a few hours Ron arrived to scope the job. Ron's professionalism was evident immediately. He described what he would do and how he would do it. I realized that he had chosen the most cost effective option of repairing the door. He said it would take a couple of hours. Not knowing his hourly rate for labor I requested an estimate. When I got the estimate, which was after a day or two, I realized his labor rate was higher than I am used to paying. But it was all well worth it. He had a hired help with him. Both men worked hard and efficiently. I got a quality job done to my satisfaction. It took Ron longer that two hours to complete the job, but he did not charge me more.
Description of Work: I had a door kicked in by burglars resulting in a crack in the door. The frame that held the dead bolt and the door lock was also broken.

 + 6 more.The projects took time about a week in all to complete but was done very nicely. The completed work is very good quality. We are so very pleased at how it turned out.
Description of Work: We had leaks in both bathrooms. They removed the wall panel and replaced all the fittings and put in new fixtures. The other bath had a leak (broken pipe) in the wall. They removed a portion of the wall the repaired the pipes then replaced the drywall. In our utility room the water heater was moved to expand the room size. They removed a door and replaced with an exterior wall. A utility tub was added. All the walls were plastered and painted. A larger light fixture was also added to the ceiling. Then a pull down ladder was replaced in the hallway and the trim replaced.
