Better than anticipated! I met with Mr. Sebren and he walked me through options. Was patient with all of my questions and helped me make decisions based on my needs (not on his profit). I really needed rotten boards replaced and wanted to go maintenance free. He gave me a quote for vinyl siding, trim work and replacement windows on the front of the house. We signed... he sent a crew out the next week and the work began. The crew was considerate, showed up on time and the work was better than I expected. I will definitely be calling them with the next project!

From almost February 2012 through the summer, we went back and forth communicating very effectively every couple of weeks with Sebren's about all of the projects and were always assured that they were set to begin construction in mid-August 2012, as was our request. Sebren's provided a very broadly worded and unacceptable contract for their work, so we drafted our own contract which detailed the expectations of all parties involved to avoid any miscommunication or misunderstandings. Sebren's never signed the agreement given to them, but stated verbally that it was fine with them. However, when mid-August 2012 arrived, Sebren's stopped returning our calls. They gave us no reason but just ignored us. We tried repeatedly to get through to them, but were unsuccessful. After trying for several weeks to get in touch with Sebren's and leaving numerous messages, we finally decided to lick our wounds and find another contractor. Sebren's behavior caused the timelines for our projects to fall months behind. We never did receive any further communication from Sebren's, but, after interviewing numerous other GCs, were able to get another General Contractor to do the jobs, and all worked out well, because our new GC turned out to be the absolute best and always acted professionally. We not only did the 3 jobs mentioned above, but also added re-roofing all of the buildings on our land to the list. I'm still perplexed as to Sebren's unexplained and unprofessional behavior. But, bc of that behavior, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend them to anyone.

He's really reasonable, really work with your budget and he really listens to everything you say that you needed to be done. He gets right on it. He's really friendly and I know all about him because his services are really great. He's doing a lot of extras for me. He's a Christian guy and he's just really honest and I really like his personality.

If a contractor decides not to perform repairs, he should show the customer some respect by notifying him accordingly. The customer can then move on to other contractors.
