If you need ANY work done, this is the place to go!!! This gentleman, his two sons and his son-in-law, along with a wonderful pair of brothers have been working as a team for multiple years. If Mr. Wheat says he can fix it, then fix it he does! This is an honest, hard working, reliable, high quality company run professionally and very pleasantly. They made wonderful suggestions, and we ended up being able to extend the flooring throughout the kitchen and utility room. We received excellent service for the money we budgeted. Our bedroom and bathroom look so wonderful.

We originally called them out about the drywall and to refinish our front door since we were selling the house. The door refinishing got delayed due to the cold weather, and the house sold before the job got started. Gerald was friendly, professional, and most importantly, flexible. The job ended up being much smaller than anticipated, but he took it all in stride and worked hard to ensure that the completed job was perfect and that we were satisfied. Will definitely be coming back to him again for any other projects that are too big to do myself.

The work was done by Mr. Wheat and his crew. Mr. Wheat watched over and supervised each part of the job, making sure everything was being done properly. The crew was very professional, courteous, and friendly. I could tell they had a lot of experience. I especially appreciated that they took time to place drop cloths on my floors and over any furniture that might get paint on it. They cleaned everything up and helped us move items back into place. There was minimal cleanup for me afterwards, as they swept and vacuumed afterwards. I will definitely use Helping Hand again!

Mr. Wheat was very helpful and gave excellent advice. His workers were always on time and did a great job with clean-up. There were no problems and he is fair with pricing with very good quality work. This is an excellent handy man crew!

Job went fantastic, I called Gerald and explained I had a list of things to do. He got the details and said he'd call back as soon as he was free to come by. He called within a week and came that day. His men came and started working and finished all the work within 3 days. They were knowledgeable about any repair you could need from plumbing to fixing the leg on a chair. It was nice to be able to call one company and get everything done instead of managing several different specialists. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing work done. Excellent work at a very fair price.

Had to have two toilets handle and valve replaced, Also a pipe tightened in bathroom. He wanted to charge $50 visit, $80 per toilet and $100 for the pipe. I just felt it was way too expensive for such a basic repair. He was very professional and responsive, but for a Handyman that is crazy.

They were prompt. They worked the whole time they were on the job. They did the job quick and got out and minimized the inconvenience to me and my family. I would use them again.

They arrived as promised and were extremely professional and polite. They wore me out just watching them work as they never took a break and completed the job in a minimum of time. I am disabled and my wife is limited in what she can do so they were able to accomplish jobs we had wanted to do, but were unable to do for over 2 years.

Gerald Wheat first came to look at the repairs several months prior but recommended that we get the roof inspected before he completed the sheetrock repairs due to the water damage. it took several months to go through the roof repairs but Gerald stayed in touch periodically and remained interested in doing the work whenever we were ready. He called me and then came promptly to do the repairs and painting. It all took about three days. He and his crew are very neat and did the work thoroughly. We were very satisfied and thought the price was fair.

Gerald Wheat came out to give estimate for gate and it was for $500.00 This is outrageous considering it was for replacement of a 5-6 foot gate and making a 4 foot gate with posts to be placed. This would have taken 2 people 3-4 hours max. I was disappointed since his previous work and charges were reasonable. I would consider using him again with an emphasis on getting estimates first obviously.

I needed a bathroom renovation done quickly and inexpensively while visiting my mom. Helping Hands rearranged their schedule to meet my very tight timeline and did it within my budget and exactly as asked. They were professional, caring, and considerate. I cannot say enough about the Wheates and their team. I got their name off Angie's List and feel so lucky to have found them. I would not hesitate to use them again.

His name is Gerald Wheat and he is a wonderful handyman. He has a wonderful crew. They get the job done and they work. There are no boom boxes or cussing. They come in on time and they work until the job is through. They were here for 1 1/2 weeks and did excellent work. He was a former neighbor of mine. He only does local work and he stays busy. Everybody wants him. He is great when I can get him. They did exactly whatever I wanted. They were good. His fees were reasonable. It wasn't on a schedule and it was based on what he was doing. It was excellent. He has done things enough to know what it will take. I was very pleased with him. He stays busy. I would absolutely use him again.
