They used a special tool to grind the counter top/Formica back about 1/2 inch on each side. Good job.

the job to extend the rear portion of our house out by 3 feet, we needed to order a replacement wall/door fixture for the back of the house, attach smoothly to the inside ceiling, and extend roof out an additional 10feet, build a foundation upon a sloping concrete patio, and enclose with brick and screen utilyzing rough and planed cypress for my inside walls and ceiling.. the work started about on time(mid july), and extended a little longer than expected(mid-late august) due to other projects that had to be completed at the same time. CA did an excellent job of understanding the project, getting the pieces of the puzzle to fit , and we finished with a house addition that is marvelous. the workers were all friendly, cooperative, and efficient. they worked h****** even the hottest days in august. i could not have envisioned this project to have turned out any better than it did.if you would like to see pictures i can provide.

Chris was contacted after viewing Angies list reviews. He came out to the house at our convenience and completed a detailed inspection of everything we needed done. Provided a detailed quote and honored the coupon we got from angies list. He completed the work in a short amount of time (the time he said he would). Everything was great. He was very prompt and worth the money.

Chris was very responsive from the moment I called to ask for an estimate. He quickly came by our house and was very professional and respectful. Even though the work we wanted done was very small compared to what his company usually performs, he treated it just as any other larger project. Our baseboard now looks great; and so far, our roof does not leak nor do our gutters. Chris also cleaned up after himself and even provided me helpful instruction to paint the master bath ceiling, rather than try and convince me that he had to do it. The price was honest. Overall, we were very happy with the work and would recommend him without reservation.

Chris & crew showed up right on time each day & ready to work. He and his crew are professional & easy to work with. Chris is a good communicator and will call or text as needed. They will work the hours you request also. The prep for painting went well and they found areas that needed repair and/or replacement. Chris used an epoxy on smaller areas and replaced wood around columns in the front. Painting went just fine and could have used more tarps to cover up at the front door area. There were some paint spatters there and he came back to make sure they were cleaned up to my satisfaction. Chris uses quality materials as well. Chris is considerate and easy going. This company will be recommended by me and used for our household needs in the future.

So far Chris with C A Construction has certainly impressed my fiancee. I made the appointment and he met with my man. I've been a single girl, doing it on her own for quite some time now. It felt great to hand the reigns over to my soon to be husband. My fiancee states Chris is very professional and puctual. We need other work done that he does not perform. However, he gave us leads on people who do and he promised they would give us a fair price. He even knows my realtor. He also gave my fiancee some helpful investment property advise. He has yet to render an estimate for our paint jog but I'm sure it will be favorable. He gets a big "A" so far. Stay tuned as I document this journey with C A Construction; all you single ladies especially :-) We accepted Chris's estimate and he began work on 8/6/2012. The job is now completed and we are very satisfied. A wall was missed and Chris promptly took care of it. He was very professional. It was quite apparent that customer service/satisfaction is his number one goal. We would have employed him to pressure wash the house as well. However, he quoted a price of $600.00 in which is way over priced. I've had my home pressure washed every spring and I"ve never paid more than $110.00 bucks for this service. Oh well, maybe he planned to do something totally different. I didn't ask. Overall we are satisfied.

We received wonderful feedback from the gentlemen. He was quick at getting back to me with the quote. We felt very comfortable with the feedback he gave us as well. His proposal was also cheaper then the other proposals we got. He was also prompt and came here on time. He was very detailed with the proposal and very professional. The gentlemen even gave us suggestions on how to save money. He could not of done a better job.

They came out surprisingly fast, fixed it surprisingly fast, promptly sent a bill, and I was able to pay by credit card. As far as I know the work they did was top notch. Everything about the experience was easy and professional. I was very pleased and will use them again.

The job was done efficiently and professionally. Chris also helped me repair two wooden washing machine and dryer pedestals I built, but were not level and were a little two high. He cut them to the right height and made them level. He did this at no charge. Chris is a very friendly and clearly very capable carpenter and I would use his services again.

The gentleman was very nice and gave me an estimate. He said he would there on Monday morning and never showed up. He never called me and I didn’t call him either. All this happened about a month ago.

The work began on April 23rd and total completion was on Jun 12th. Everything went great and as planned, short of the wait time for the Marble order completion and install; and then the wait time for the glass order completion and install, which took a total of approximately 3 weeks in all, but that was due to the materials we chose to work with for this remodel. The work completed was quality and Chris is very conscious of pleasing his customer. We would highly recommend Chris Allen, CA Construction.

Chris promptly returned my call, provided an estimate within a couple of days and then completed the work as schedulee. They did a quality job and completed it even more quickly than I had anticipated. I will continue to hire CA Construction for other projects.

Chris was so pleasant to work with. He came by one afternoon and walked through the house with us and offered some good suggestions as to how to update our home. He supplied us with an estimate within a couple of days. He was considerate, prompt, and trustworthy. His price was very reasonable and he was happy to help when we added a few things to the list. He was eager to please and I would use him again in the future.

Chris responded promptly to my call for an estimate for fence work. He helped us to determine the most cost effective way to upgrade an old worn out fence. We were able to use the majority of the posts and frame. All boards were taken down and replaced with cedar. Two gates were rebuilt as well. Chris was easy going, courteous, and was obviously wanting to do the best he could. He showed up at the agreed times. Whenever he had to leave for supplies or lunch he left the fence so that the dogs could be let out. He ended up hauling away old fencing and small trees and clippings. Chris is easy to get a hold of and responds quickly. I have to say that it went well over all and we are pleased enough so much so that he will be painting my house in the future.

I was satisfied. He did what he said he was going to do. He was there when he was supposed to be every time.

In preparation to put my house on the market, I had several things that needed repaired and updated. Kitchen cabinets were showing their age, master bath was in need of updates (23 year old wallpaper), and some minor sheetrock repairs were also need. Chris was able to handle all these tasks. I know that this will help me sell my home quicker and at a better price.

I was happy with them. I am going to use them again.

He came on time, trimmed the Formica, charged a fair price...no problems.

This work took about 4 weeks to complete with Christmas and New Years in the middle. Plus Chris had to wait for Lowes to get the last little bit of tile in. Chris was great about scheduling around my work, the holidays, and material availability. And the other thing that Chris was great about was my designing on the go. I did change my mind a few times, and Chris was really great about going with the flow. I find it hard to have folks in my house for extended periods of time, and while the experience was somewhat stressful, it was bearable. I had three dogs that I worried about getting loose, but Chris and his helper were great with the dogs and there were no disasters. So overall, I love my new closet, really really love my new Kitchen and feel safe now with new front steps that are deep enough to walk on (the first step of my old stairs was too short and too steep and I always felt unsteady). Chris was great about the stairs - especially since the first paint washed right off and he had to repaint the whole front stairs and porch. Chris also had to install kitchen cabinet hinges, door handles and drwaer knobs twice (first time I completely picked the wrong color and they were awful - tip for all - do not use stainless with yellow cabinets). The bronze hardware he installed the second time is beautiful - see pix. As I have read from other female writers, I did get a bit tired of cleaning up every day after work was complete - but in the big picture, this was a small price to pay for how flexible Chris was - for his good ideas - his thoughtful care of my home and my pets - and his willingness to fix anything to my satisfaction. Renovations make messes, and it is not for wimps! You have to deal with the anxiety of folks in your space making a mess. It takes a mess to get something peautiful in the end. My taste is not everyones, but I love my colorful remodel. And I will definitely have Chris work for me in the future!!!

He did a wonderful job and is truly deserving of the high quality ratings he has received on this site. Today I noticed that he also repaired the grout that was missing in my kitchen floor. While that was not part of the job, I appreciate the extra touch as I was planning to "get around" to fixing the grout.

Fair but I had to beef up the fence with additional screws and scrape paint of of plates and door hardware.
