Description of Work: We were looking for a general handyman, we own several buildings of different type construction and are always looking for a good general handyman. Called about framing up a door for a bathroom in a metal building, he was not interested at all, so I did not even tell him about all the other jobs needed. He is not as general as his ad lead me to believe.

Description of Work: Although a scheduling conflict kept Chris from actually taking on my project, I will keep him in mind for future projects. He was punctual, professional, fairly priced and took time to discuss details and make me feel comfortable with his ability to professionally perform the fireplace rebuilt I was requesting.

 + 6 moreI could not be more satisfied with the work that CA has done for me. I live out of town and had a bathroom that needed to be redone. Chris worked diligently with me communicating via phone and email. He is trustworthy and really understood my "vision". I wanted the remodel to be finished as a selling point for my house, but done as cost efficiently as possible. He knew what I needed and got the job done. There were many times that he had to make a judgement calls and he was correct on each one of them. If I was not completely satisfied with any of his work or decisions, he came back and redid the job to make it perfect. Thank you CA for a job extremely well done at a reasonable price. Your trustworthiness and honesty throughout the project was priceless. Thanks again CA. I will use CA again for future projects either big or small.

 + 3 moreLet me start by saying that Chris showed up to do the estimate exactly when he said he would. Punctuality is very important to us. When we agreed on a price and time to start, Chris showed up exactly when he said he would. Throughout the entire project Chris was always punctual. If for any reason that he was delayed, we knew BEFORE so that we could plan. He worked very cleanly and was always polite and courteous. His professionalism was evident throughout the entire project. In the past we have used contractors that prolonged the job by trying to do other jobs as he was working on ours. It is refreshing to finally find a person that you can count on and is good at what he does. He was very responsive to any adjustments that we wanted and always worked them in with no issue. In all of this, his quality of work was excellent. We love our bathrooms!! We have several more projects lined up to do and will definately use Chris for them.
Description of Work: We had him completely gut two bathrooms and install new bathtub with shower liner, new toilets, new vanity and sink, lights and heater, along with new tile. He installed new cabinets on the wall. He added shelves to an existing cabinet and made and installed a new door on it. We elected to paint the bathrooms ourselves so it was not part of the bid. He did all of the plumbing. We also had him install all of the bathroom hardware. He hauled off all old debris.

I couldn't even tell he had been here except the areas had been repaired and painted so he did a great job with cleanup too! While I hope we don't need a lot of work done, I know who we will call when do have some!!

 + 1 moreThis was a pleasant experience overall. Chris is responsive, diligent and polite. The work was done in a timely manner and came in on budget. I plan to use CA Construction again in the near future.
Description of Work: Chris enclosed a 6x8 foot back porch by building out one partial wall to make it solid, leaving the one exterior wall open. Then, using two 36" screen doors and screening for the top portion, enclosed the exterior wall. This porch had a mosquito problem and that is now solved. He had to work around uneven surfaces and a conduit passing through the partial solid wall build-out, but did a great job of it. Chris even took into consideration my concern with the sun being too bright in the afternoon (porch is on west side of house) and bought light filtering screening! Now that is listening to the customer! The job only took one long afternoon and the next morning. I supplied most of the materials, but he picked up exterior cement board and the screen. He cleaned up after the job, and since I had to be gone when he finished, he instructed me to mail the payment to him, making things very convenient for me.

I told him I had a long to-do list and he was game to tackle it all. Chris was punctual, professional and did quality work. He's someone I will definitely rely on in the future.
Description of Work: Chris Allen of CA Construction cleaned and regrouted my tub/shower, cleared out flower beds and mulched them, power washed my walkway and fences, fixed my sliding glass doors, spray painted an exterior walkway railing and painted my chimney.
