Brent's Appliance Repair

Albeit this is not my first experience with an appliance technician, this is definitely my first experience with an Appliance Professional. I will not hesitate to call on Brent in the future and will recommend Brent every opportunity I can.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!! BRENT IS A SCAM!!!! IF ONLY I COULD RATE BRENT'S APPLIANCE REPAIR WITH A STAR RATING OF LESS THAN ONE I WOULD!!!! BRENT WAS CALLED TO REPAIR A REFRIGERATOR IN MY HOME THAT WAS NOT COOLING OR FREEZING AS IT SHOULD. THE BANDAID REPAIR THAT BRENT DID ONLY LASTED APPROXIMATELY TWO MONTHS ONLY FOR THE REFRIGERATOR TO BECOME OUT OF WARRANTY WHICH HE GURANTEES FOR ONLY 30 DAYS. I CALLED BRENT MORE THAN 4 TIMES AND HE DOES NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS. THE ONLY WAY I WAS ABLE TO SPEAK WITH HIM IS WHEN HE ANSWERED WHEN I CALLED FROM A NUMBER THAT HE DID NOT KNOW. HE BLATANTLY IGNORED AND DODGED MY PHONE CALLS. HE'S VERY VERY DISRESPECTFULL WITH HIS LANGUAGE AND TONE AND TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE HE HUNG UP IN MY FACE! IN ADDITION TO HIS LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM, IN MY OPINION HE SHOULDN'T BE CONSIDERED AN EXPERT. WHILE TRYING TO REPAIR A REFRIGERATOR IN MY HOME I BELIEVE HE ENDED UP BREAKING THE SEAL OF THE VERY REFRIGERATOR HE WAS SUPPOSELY REPARING. AND TO FOLLOW HIS UNPROFESSIONALISM HE CLAIMED HE DIDN'T BUT EVERYONE IN MY HOUSEHOLD AND RELATIVES THAT WERE AT MY HOME KNEW THAT IT WAS NOT BROKEN BEFORE HE ARRIVED. WHEN HE INITIALLY INSPECTED THE REFRIGERATOR THE SEAL WAS NOT BROKEN ONLY AFTER HE PULLED THE REFRIGERATOR FROM AGAINST THE WALL IT BECAME BROKEN. I INFORMED HIM OF THIS IMMEDIATLEY!!!! BUT HIS LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM AGAIN CAME INTO PLAY IN WHICH HE DENIED BREAKING THE SEAL. LOOKING BACK AT THIS SITUATION THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MY FIRST REASON TO NOT USE HIM AND REFUSE HIM TO COME BACK TO MY HOME!!! I PAID BRENT IN FULL....~$191.66 FOR A REPAIR ON AN OLD REFRIGERATOR THAT BROKE AND IS STILL IN THE SAME CONDITION WHEN HE INITIALLY INSPECTED!!! SO IF HE ISN’T CAPABLE OF FIXING A 1990 REFRIGERATOR I CERTAINLY WOULDN’T TRUST HIM WITH ANY NEWER MODELS……..REFRIGERATOR, DISHWASHERS, OVENS, GARBAGE DISPOSALS, OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT’S ADVERTISED ON HIS WEBSITE. IF BRENT WOULD HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO COME BACK TO MY HOME AND REINSPECT THE REFRIGERATOR (LIKE ANY REAL EXPERT WOULD) AND DETERMINED THAT IT WAS ANOTHER ISSUE THAT WAS CAUSING THE MALFUNCTION I WOULD HAVE COMPENSATED HIM FOR HIS TIME AND THE REPAIR. HOWEVER, WITH HIS UNPROFESSIONLAISM BEHAVIOR, ATTITUDE, AND TONE I DO NOT WANT HIM TO STEP FOOT IN MY HOME YET ALONG MY NEIGHBORHOOD! Arrived, diagnosed and fixed the problem very quickly.

We found out not actually able to use hot water either. Brent fixed both issues, had the parts on hand and was very professional, knew his stuff and fixed it in one trip.

Was very prompt after my call and was able to fix the problem in a short time.

Very well. He was helpful with explanations.

Called and he fit me in his schedule immediately. Repaired belt or something on dryer, completely finished in 30 minutes. I have used him before...tried to fix motherboard on washer...came four times with different parts..could not repair and would not let me pay him. He is a gem...use him and keep his number handy...you will never want to use anyone else.

Brent is very nice young man and professional and will be calling on him again.

I am so pleased with his service! He answered his phone immediately, was so courteous and kind. He followed through with what he said he would do--check part price, call back promptly, etc. The price and time frame and were exactly what he first stated. This was one of the best home repair situations I have had!! I highly recommend Brent!

The repairman called ahead as promised and showed up when he said he would arrive. He diagnosed the problem, told me what it'd cost to fix, and had machine running in short order. Then he emailed us a receipt. Sears charges $80 just to find your house and park there. Brett's is much more reasonable. I recommend them and would use their service again.

My husband and I had contacted Brent initially in Oct, per Angie's List's recommendation, & were overall extremely pleased with Brent and the work he did for us. Yesterday we noticed our icemaker making a noise and it was not making ice. Therefore, I contacted Brent to see if we could schedule an appt. for him to come out to take a look at it. Brent was able to come out 30 mins later and looked at our icemaker and within 10 mins, he was headed out the door and said it should be taken care of! When I asked what we owed him, he said that since he had replaced it in Oct, we didn't owe him a thing and to just give him a call if we have any more problems! Now that's what I call outstanding customer service!! :o) Brent, thank you for your professionalism and for taking SUCH GREAT care of us!

My husband and I were both very impressed with the overall quality of service and a job VERY well done by Brent! I had found Brent on Angie's List and called him on a Friday and he was able to schedule an appointment to come and look at our washing machine and ice maker on Monday afternoon. Brent called, just like he said he would, 30 mins prior to his arrival on Monday afternoon. Upon arriving, he was very professional and came right in and looked at both appliances and within minutes was able to tell us what needed to be done in order to repair both appliances. We thought our timer needed replacing on our washer, but it turned out to only be a worn out latch. Brent had the part for our washer latch on his truck and our ice maker unit needed replacing, of which Brent also had on his truck. He was EXTREMELY efficient in getting both appliances repaired and thoroughly cleaned up both areas where he had been working. We will most definitely contact Brent for any future appliance repairs and would strongly recommend him! Thanks again Angie's List, for a GREAT recommendation!!

It went very good. The unit works like new.

CONTACTED VIA ANGIESLIST ON SUNDAY, BRENT CALLED ON MONDAY AND SCHEDULED FOR LATE DAY. HE ARRIVED, DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AS BROKEN FAN BLADES, REPLACED THE FAN AND CHECK FOR PROPER OPERATION. WAS PROFESSIONAL ALL THE WAY. WOULD NOT HESITATE TO CALL HIM IN THE FUTURE.

He called to schedule appt as promised. However, he was runnng thirty minutes late with no notice/explanation/apology. He may do good work, but he dropped the ball with me, and my time was wasted. Shame because most of his other reviews are good.

BRENT IS EXTREMELY CONSCIENTIOUS AND PROFESSIONAL. HE CAME WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD--ASSESSED THE PROBLEM--FIXED IT AND CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF. I WILL AND HAVE RECOMMENDED HIM TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS. SOON AFTER HE LEFT MY HOUSE, MY DAUGHTER RELATED THE EXPERIENCE TO A FREND AND SHE CALLED HIM ABOUT HER DISHWASHER. HE WENT SOON AFTER SHE CALLED AND HANDLED HER PROBLEM AS WELL. HERS WAS VERY MINOR AND HE FIXED IT, AND SAID SINCE IT WAS SO MINOR AND BECAUSE IT WAS ON HIS WAY HOME--HE DID NOT CHARGE HER! UNHEARD OF THIS DAY AND TIME. BRENT IS THE MAN!

Call Brent after talking to the OEM (Sears) and being told that they would sent out a repair person on the 20th of Sep. I went to the list. Call Brent and got his answering machine and left a message. Within an hour, he called me back and got the information on the problem. He said he would try to be here later that afternoon. He said he had a couple other appointments and would try toget here after them. He ask if would be ok if were late in the afternoon? I said that when every he could get here would beat what Sears had told me. Brent called about five and asked if it was still ok to come over and do the service. I said ok and he arrived about 30 minutes later. Reviewed the dryer and gave me and estimate on the spot. Told me what parts have to be replaced and and said go ahead and fix it. I believe that he was finished with the basic repair in 30 minutes and was checking to see if everything was working correctly. When he looked at the venting he found that there was a large amount of build up in the pipes. He explain what this would caused and suggest the it be cleaned out. He told me what the cost would be and I told him the go ahead. I found him to be a true professional, which in this time and age is a rare find.

My control panel was bad and that model has been discontinued. Brent sent it off to be rebuilt. He returned about 2 weeks later with the rebuilt control , installed it and it has been fine since then

I had a problem with my GE side-by-side refrigerator not cooling and frost forming in the freezer. I called Brent's Appliance late morning, and within 20 minutes he called me back. He asked detailed questions about the make of the refrigerator and asked for the model number, which I gave him. He then continued to ask a series of questions and instructed me on some possible solutions to try before he came out. I followed his instructions, and the refrigerator is now cooling and the frost in the freezer is disappearing. I do not know how long it will last, but I know he pulled me out of an emergency situation, and told me signs to watch for to indicate whether the problem is returning. I know if I have further trouble with the refrigerator or any other appliance, I will be calling Brent. I can not express how much his integrity and honesty is appreciated by me, and that he took the time to help me over the phone when he could have just come out and charged a service call. I will definitely Brent to friends, and I highly recommend him for your appliance repair. He is very professional, and has a high level of integrity.

I called about ten after 9 and got Brent, he said he could get to my problem later in the morning. He called about 10:30 and asked if he could head my way. He arrived shortly after, he diagnosed the problem gave me a price for each repair and then repaired them onsite. He made sure the refrigerator was cooling cleaned up and returned the unit back against the wall. Brent was very polite, I hope to not have to call him in the future but if I have a problem I will call him immediately. My wife also ask him about the key panel on our microwave and he said just buy a new one the parts cost to much for it to make sense to repair (he could of said sure Ill fix it). Brent is a very nice guy that is extremely professional, I would recommend him.
