+ -1 moreMr. Joe is so dependable, accurate and caring to us. He calls daily to keep us informed of progress and if he says something you can stand on his truly word. He drawn up a professional and detailed contract which he went over step by step before we signed it. He requires 1/2 upfront and balance upon completion of work. He don't start on a job and go off and come back weeks later, he starts and finish within the timeframe he tells you. My husband got two other estimates and Mr. Joe was a lot less expensive than the other two. He and his two workers were nice, respectful and cleaned up entire area when finished. Mr. Joe installed the pantry and cabinets in about 2-3 hours and we watched him and was so amazed at how quick and good he and workers were. Mr. Joe answered any questions we had upfront, during and after the work was performed. Whenever we called him, he was always happy to hear from us. Mr. Joe is the ONLY carpenter we will use from now on. He is trustworthy, honest, respectful, friendly, dependable and most of all, very affordable. His work speaks for him. I posted the BEFORE pictures of pantry & cabinets and will post countertop and backsplash AFTER our painter paints cabinets and pantry and Mr. Joe puts countertop and backsplash down, so you can see why Mr. Joe is THE MAN for ALL your carpentry needs! Description of Work: Joe Perry built me a 32" kitchen pantry with four doors and 12 linear feet of cabinets; top and bottom with cabinets and large slide out drawers, ALL SO BEAUTIFUL AND WELL BUILT. Mr. Joe ORDERED the cabinets DOORS and LARGE, SLIDE OUT DRAWERS FACING, of which he installed them to the cabinets. Mr. Joe will put the countertop and backsplash on cabinets and wall and the pulls/knobs, as well, once our family friend (that we hired separately) finishes painting the cabinets and pantry. Mr. Joe also replaced rotten wood at top, back of house and did a good job.

Description of Work: This company has been to my house on numerous occassions and provided excellent carpentry work. They initially did all the trim carpentry at the house. The house is an antebellum home that is now restored to all its beauty. I call them whenever I need to change doors out build new screen doors and shelves or cabinets etc. They do it all. They are very reasonable and puntual. I love the quality of work and the resonable pricing. Its nice to find someone who cares about the work that they do and provides the best.

+ 2 moreThe overall project of restoring the house and dealing with numerous contractors was quite a task. Joe Perry and his men were the best subcontractors that came to the house. Had I known how good Joe Perry was going to be beforehand and reliable I think I would have hired him to oversee the entire project. He made sure a lot of things were done and that we were taken care of even though they were not something that he was assigned to do. They do excellent work.
Description of Work: My husband and I purchased an 1857 antebellum home that needed to be completely restored and renovated. We really lucked out when Joe Perry Carpentry was recommended for the job. Of all the contractors we used he was the absolute best. There was no question whether he would show up or not. He was always promptly at the house at 7 a.m. and working. He was very careful about his work and was able to input good design ideas when needed for the problems we encountered. The house required cabinets throughout to be built in the kitchen, closets, sewing room, mudroom, and bedrooms. All new mantles for the four fireplaces had to be made designed. All new door casings and doors had to be installed. All hardware for cabinets and doorways. The original windows had to be re-worked so that they were operable. New columns had to be built on the exterior as well as the porches re-done. All new crown molding and baseboards had to be put in. We were able to restore as much of the original woodwork also. Joe and his crew helped to make decisions about where we could implement the old with the new. New windows and casings were installed. Many of the old doors were salvaged and made to work. We added a lot of built in's to the house. I simply suggested what I would like to have i.e. window benches, broom closet, book shelves etc. and viola he would make them and they looked absolutely wonderful.
