Steve was superb. he communicated with us very clearly and explained what had to be done. Everything was done so neatly and clean we were amazed. He even cleaned up some of our mess. The job was done on time and he made sure everything was to our liking. The new entry and door is perfect. Will certainly use SE Construction in the future.

Steve's a small operation - he's the general and brings in a few subs as needed - but that means that as he's juggling jobs he may need to leave yours for a couple of days to put out a fire for another client. And when your fire needs to be put out, he'll be there for you. That's the tradeoff - a big contractor can throw a crew at your job non-stop - but its a crew. With Evanoff Construction, you get Steve - and that's a good get!. And no, I wasn't paid for this comment - he's really that good.

Steve was always prompt and kept us informed of scheduling. First project was removing outdated window trim on 10 double windows and staining and installing new trim. He also removed 4 closet doors and stained and installed new ones. All was done to our satisfaction. He cleaned up afterwards daily and his workmanship is very good. Second project was to remove tile and base from master bathroom shower and update it. He used a tile/flooring company that was very easy to work with and did great work. We also have a new custom shower door that is good quality. All in all we were pleased with the results.

We had Steve Evanoff of SE CONSTRUCTION give us an estimate for helping us redo our kitchen. We had a island that we wanted to take out to open the kitchen up. Also replace counter tops and do wood floors in kitchen, dinning area, and living room and hall, and new carpets in bedrooms and down the stairs to the basement and floors in bathroom, and toilets. Steve gave us an estimate and we went with him after looking for a long time and getting other estimates for the project. The reason we went with Steve is because we had him do work for us in the past and we knew his character and his dedication and perfection to what he dose, he is like an artist, his work is his and goes above and beyond what anyone will every do. He helped us find a good flooring company, and he did all the woodword that was needed for the Base Shoe of the stairs and handrail for the wood floors and stain all the trim for the wood floors to match our 24 year old woodwork, which he also helped clean. He also got the counter tops we picked out for us, and had them put in, and new sink, aslo put in the new toilets and new lights we picked out, he made sure each day that the work of others was done to his perfection. He is an amazing man who knows alot about construction and will not let anyone he contracts with to anything he dose not approve of and if they do, he will have them correct it immedciately or he will. Steve is like having a friend working for you who he considers worth his time an talent. We would use only Steve again for any job needing done inside or out. Why because he has proven to us, he is trustwothy, honest, punctual and we have never been disappointed by any work he has done for us on this project or others whe had him do. When he painted the entire inside of our house 3 years ago and did cielings and wall, he even patched a crack in our ceiling and match the ceiling can't to this day tell where it was at. This time and in the past there were things that needed to be added to the project and he didn't raise his estimate. No where have we ever experienced that with a Contractor. So if you want the best in Platte County, call Steve, he is awesome!
