We lost a huge oak tree in the back yard of our weekend residence - which shaded most of the lake side of our home at Lake of the Ozarks. Our utility bills were noticeably higher without that "natural" shade. I had checked with several local companies for their advice and proposals and found SunRays the old-fashioned way...in the phone book. I contacted Ray Hall and told him our situation. He went over several options and suggested we check out his website for additional product information as well as a gallery from some of his clients. He advised that if I could give him some measurements, he would provide us with an estimate - which I did. His pricing was very fair and when I asked his opinion of other businesses and their products, he was very professional about explaining the pros and cons. There are many options with the diferent films available, but Ray suggested that his most popular tint was 67%. When I asked what the biggest regret from clients was, he said they sometimes wished they had gone a little darker. We opted for the darker (67%) film and Ray ordered our material. In less than a week, the film was in and Ray came to our home (on time) for the installation. Ray is a very personable guy and obviously enjoys what he does. Our home has an atrium-style family room with 20 foot ceilings that literally has a whole 2-story wall of windows - the largest being double 67" x 67". I'm one of those "handy" guys that does almost everything myself, but when I saw the process involved, I knew I had made the right decision by having a professional do this one. Ray even has a "How-To" tab on his website so that people can get an idea of what's involved. Ray spent the better part of the day tinting the fifteen windows on the back of our home and I could see he put the same amount of effort and pride in the fifteeth window as he had in the first. Ray called to confirm bid and was very helpful with his suggestions. He confirmed the appointment before his scheduled work and was very punctual upon arrival. He showed up fifteen minutes early with everything that he needed to finish the job. He got started right away, without delay. He was so kind and very funny. He made sure that I was satisfied with his work before he left and I could not be happier. My room stays so much cooler now from the afternoon sun. My utility bills have really shown the benefits from the work. I really wish I had done this sooner.
