Ramos Landscaping

I was extremely pleased with Ramos Landscaping. I called Mr. Ramos to set up an appointment for an estimate. Mr. Ramos got right back to me and set up a time to meet for the estimate. I decided to give Mr. Ramos my business after receiving other bids because he offered the best price and I felt confident he would be able to deliver a quality product. He also was the only company who said they could start right away. Mr. Ramos called on a Monday to let me know they would start the job that Wednesday. He called back on Tuesday to ask if they could start early which was great. By the end of the day Wednesday, they were almost done with the patio. The only reason the completion got delayed was because it rained for the rest of the afternoon on Wed and all day Thursday. Mr. Ramos and his crew were right back at the house on Friday morning and completed the patio. I was impressed with how quickly they got the job done and I'm very pleased with my new patio. The crew were polite and professional and cleaned up after the job was done. I will definitely use Ramos Landscaping again for other backyard projects.

Bad...no service after the install. In and out and just another bad experience with Angies List providers. This site is a resource for bad contractors that use it to get one time clients then walk away. Angies list then calls you and asks you to remove any bad comments. Probably will start seeing Attorneys Generals investigate. I know I am going to my Attorney General too many bad experiences on Angies List

Ramos landscaping was a pleasure to work with. They had wonderful design suggestions and did a beautiful job. I will definitely use them in the future.

How did it go? OUTSTANDING from start to finish. We had quite a bit of work to be done and I can honestly say that I was pleased from start to finish. My initial contact was through an email. I was put in touch with Ramos designer, Kevin, since I was completing redoing all of the front landscape. Kevin came over and listened to my vision for the front then we walked through the problem areas in the back with the water erosion and generally trimming/clean up that was required. Kevin was back within a week with a design and estimate for all of the work. I really appreciate Ramos Landscaping as their estimate clearly outlined the cost of individual plants, rock, sod and labor. Kevin listened to my requirements because the design really matched our needs. We accepted their proposal and they gave us an estimate of when they would start the work pending weather or rain delays. Within in two weeks they called and gave us the scheduled days for our work. Because of the amount of landscaping we were having performed, they worked over several days at our home. Each day they were here, it was amazing the amount of work that was completed in such a professional manner. They were organized, worked hard and cleaned up each evening. The end results are AMAZING. The front landscaping is everything I imaged and better. They created a rock basin in the back to manage our erosion problems and it is very unique and creative. It resolved a problem we have been dealing with for some time in a very natural and beautiful way. Most importantly, it works very well as we have had plenty of severe rain showers since it was installed and have not had any erosion or standing pools of water. I would highly recommend Ramos Landscaping.

Crew of 3 was prompt. They performed the work I requested in a quick and professional manner. My husband & I were very pleased with the work.

I love working with Wilian. He and his crew are good hard workers. They do a great job at a reasonable price. They were patient and helpful with my various odd requests (like taking away the old soil in three planning containers). They also took great care around all of my gardens (roses and perennials) and didn't damage anything. As a matter of fact, I even trusted them to replant some daylilies that had to be moved during this process, and they did a great job. Ramos Landscaping will be my go-to company for work in my yard from now on!

I first met with Kevin, the landscape designer, who came out on the weekend to discuss ideas for my yard. He did a great job of giving me options that were within my budget. He was very responsive and continued to work with me as we tweaked the design over the next couple of weeks. Later on, the actual work was performed, and I was very happy with how it turned out. It was simple, well-executed, and just the sort of thing I was looking for.

Mr. Ramos and my husband had a discussion on what was needed to fill our desire for privacy around our large patio. He offered suggestions and we listened to his advice. They completed their work in a professional manner and cleaned up the worksite at the end of the 2nd day. Everything looks great!

Attempted to contact this provider multiple times but could never get them to reply back to arrange a date to redeem the Angies List Big Deal

Job was professionally done and was performed in a timely area. We were able to communicate with what services were desired. I felt the costs were very competitive and they were made sure I was happy with results. I would use him again.

Ramos has an excellent team that he leads by example and it solved the problems dealing with the water and at the same time . . . It looks great ! Wilian Ramos is he best !

It can best be said that I am using Ramos on other jobs and terminated my relationship with my previous mowing service

Mr. Ramos worked with me to get this job done ASAP, since it was for our old house that we are selling (we have already moved into our new house). He had a cancellation and called me the day after I purchased the deal to move the time up to the next day because he had a cancellation. His crew worked steadily and was able to clean everything up in the 4 hours they were there. They did everything I asked of them and more, because they had more time than they needed for just the backyard. Their work was efficient and the outside of the house looks spectacular. We will be having Mr. Ramos come to our new house to landscape our new backyard!

Mr. Ramos was very good to deal with. I had previously had a drainage pipe installed by a company, and it was not doing the job it should have. I found Mr. Ramos on Angie's List, and called him. Within a few days he was out to give me an estimate, and within a few days of that, the work was completed. So far, it has worked satisfactorily. In addition, the "pop-up" that the other company installed came off within a month of them doing the job. I called Mr. Ramos and he came back out and replaced the "pop-up" on the drainage pipe, at no cost. I will be dealing with Mr. Ramos this spring to replace the deck with a patio, and to also replace many dead bushes in my back yard. I would recommend Mr. Ramos for any landscape job. I wish I'd known about him before contracting with the other company.

Mr. Ramos & his crew arrived on time and began with the drainage problem which originated in the front yard. Since there is a slope from the street to the house, all the water was collecting and then routing down the side of the house and washing away ground around the deck supports. The area in the front of the house was always a "swamp" where the water collected after a rain and you couldn't walk without soaking wet feet. A drainage system ws installed so the excess water was routed away frojm the house & deck supports. I feel that I have averted a catastrophe with all the rain & snow we've had this winter. The retaining wall is not only functional, but gives that area of the house a "complete" look that is pleasing to view. I would definitely recommend Ramos Landscaping and will continue to use his services.

The landscapers did exactly as asked, were prompt and courteous, and I'd definitely use this company for spring or fall cleanup in the future. The part that was unsatisfactory was the design consultation/sketch. After meeting with William Ramos, it was clear that this company wasn't really expecting to provide this part of the service. I had to push to get a commitment to provide a sketch, and was called several days after our first conversation by a woman who was to be responsible for the design and sketch. She never came through. She seemed unwilling/unable to get to my home to provide the service, and eventually stopped taking my calls. William apologized, and I gave up trying to redeem this part of what I paid for. The bottom line: If you have a plan, this company will do a good job executing it. But don't expect them to help you create a plan.

Was a very nice man. We would not hesitate to call this company back for future needs.

I initially bought the package for them to do 40 hours of general laborer work and decided after meeting William Ramos to have them do some additional work including replacing damaged portions of a privacy fence and installing a small stone retaining wall. The basic work they did in cleaning up the yard, trimming shrubs and restoring some landscape areas was very good. The work they did in repairing the damage portion of the privacy fence was excellent because they completed it in one day which was important us since we have three dogs that have access to the yard. William suggested a retaining wall as a solution to a drainage problem I was having and the solution has worked very well. Again, he and his crew performed the work very expeditiously. I would certainly use this company again.

William came out the same day I called. He understood immediately what I wanted and came up with a plan to solve my landscaping and erosion problem. He started work when promised and finished sooner than expected. His team was very hardworking and cleaned up completely before they left each day- so much so that I only noticed progress and results each time I came home from work rather than seeing debris or yard waste around. He stayed in constant contact with me, keeping me informed and was very willing to make changes when necessary. It was a pleasure working with him. I appreciated his honesty and integrity and work ethic. Overall a very pleasant experience for me and a job well done. I am very pleased and will definitely use Ramos Landscaping again.
