Ramos Landscaping

We were very pleased with Mr Ramos and his crew. They worked efficiently and we have the drainage results were were looking for. After a 21/2 inch rain last night our basement is dry. The stonework came out well. You can be confident is you select Ramos Landscaping.

Designer was very slow to respond. Provided unprofessional sketches. Did not use her recommended plantings. Got better planting advice for free from nursery. Ramos did excellent job of rebuilding natural stone wall. Very high quality craftsmanship on this portion of job.

Willian is great! This is the second time we've used him. He was very responsive and showed up when he said he would to review the job. He worked hard to find the right size bushes and called me to confirm I could receive pictures before he purchased them from the nursery. His guys showed up on time on Thanksgiving morning because they knew I needed this work done quickly (before weather turned bad we thought). After he was done, they cleaned up their mess, showed me how to care for them and made sure I was happy with their work before they left. I highly recommend using Ramos Landscaping and now that we are getting settled in our new house will be calling him again in the spring.

Have used Ramos at least 8 different times over the past 2 years. My landscaping was a VERY big project. William and his guys have done a wonderful job on anything I had them do. Retaining walls, edging, planting, tear out, drainage, paver walkways, rock installation etc. I will not hesitate to have them do many more projects for me in the future. They quote competetive prices, show up on time and do a great job.

Very easy to work with. I changed and added items as they worked without any problems. I had three other landscapers submit estimates. I choose Ramos because they were able to do all facets of the work I wanted done. They were prompt and efficient. I am sure I will use there services again.

The results are beautiful. Trimming was to my satisfaction, weeds in the rock planting foundations were pulled, the drain pipe is fixed. All cuttings were cleaned up and hauled away...no small stems or leaves remained in the lawn or on my patio. I even saw the workmen make a final inspection, picking up any stray cuttings. For the first winter in along time, I have an immaculate landscape. Thank you, Ramos Landscaping!!!

They kept me informed as to when they would be there. This was a big plus. They finished the job in one day. They worked extremely hard. I was very impressed. After it was finished they actually called a few days later to see if everything had been done to my satisfaction. I would definitely use them again.

Of all the mulching and trimming we've ever had done over the years, this person and his crew have done the best job, edging around each area, using dyed mulch, and trimming all plants immaculately. We've paid the same price for far worse service in past.

They exceeded my expectations! I expected the front to be weeded and mulched - they weeded the front, both sides, back and killed the weeds coming up between the slabs on my driveway. They willingly planted 5, 1 gallon plants. They cleaned up every night and did a final clean up on the last day. Mr. Ramos was receptive to any questions and was actively involved in the 6 day project. His workers were professional and focused. I cannot say enough good things about this company and their employees.

They did a great job on landscape clean up, trimming bushes and pulling up weeds and unwanted plants. They left the drain pipe sticking out too far into the brook. Also had an issue with the sump pump after their work. When I called about it, I did not hear back. l Communication was difficult at times and great at others.

It was $1200. It was good. He did take the time to explain what was going on and the options he had for me. Different types of molds and different plants that we could put in to fill spots. The owner, Ramos actually came by.

The owner contacted us and said another individual would be contacting us to discuss the project. The individual did, and set up an appointment for Saturday to come by and discuss the work. The individual did not show up for the appointment, or notify us that he couldn't come. I have no problems with a landscaper not being interested in the job, or calling to rearrange an appointment, or making arrangements for a future discussion. I do have a problem when people don't even bother to show up.

Willian and his crew showed up on time. they were very friendly and helpful. Willian ran out to buy some more shrubs when I decided at last minute to add more. The prices on the shrubs he installed was very reasonable, and the quality of material he uses is excellent. I have already referred him to a few neighbors and recommend him highly.

We received three bids for the work, which including removing lawn on a back yard berm about 7 feet from top to bottom. We wanted to replace the lawn with rock and stone so we could stop mowing it after a couple close calls slipping on the hill. Two bids were similar while one was almost double. We chose Ramos Landscaping after talking with him and liking his ideas the best about the boulder placement and his selection of plants to add splashes of green over the rocks. We paid 40% up front with the other 60% due on project completion. We scheduled our landscaping day, and Ramos showed up with three other workers to help with the project. They were very efficient in removing the lawn, taking care to make sure the edges were straight and the digging was deep enough to fully remove it all. Next they laid the plastic, then added the plants in the yard. They added the multiple boulders, and finally covered the area in the selected rock. They took great care to use boards on our lawn to lower any ruts from the wheelbarrow, hosed all the rock down to remove any dirt, and left my yard looking better than it was before they started. Wjilliam Ramos (the owner) is very easy going, professional, and confident in his work - which he should be because he and his team did a great job. We will definitely use Ramos Landscaping again, and I will recommend him to my friends, neighbors, and coworkers.

They were very prompt when we first called to get an estimate. Kevin Goggin worked with us on the landscape layout. He was very easy to work with and incorporated some of the items we wanted into the landscape design. Once the design was finalized, William Ramos and his crew were very curtious, hardworking and did a beautiful job on our new front landscaping. They also did a great job in cleaning up after their work was completed. We would highly recommend Ramos Landscaping for any landscaping jobs and we would definitely hire them in the future! We apologize for the late review, we've had a hectic schedule this past year but we wanted to make sure credit is given to this company for the wonderful job they did at our house!

Ramos provided excellent pricing and excellent customer service. Very responsive to any needs or concerns we had and made sure everything was remedied to our satisfaction without tacking on extra costs.

They fixed issues with a two retaining walls. I had the one in front of my house built last year and it was not built correctly. Ramos dug out all along the inside of the wall to add drain cloth (was missing) to prevent the mulch and water from leaking through this wall. They also rebuilt one retaining wall in the back that was falling down. Excellent job. Also had them put down some pavers around my existing patio and rock in the beds in back yard. They did additional plantings in my front yard. They also dug up existing down spout drains that were completely clogged and backing up. They replaced these with new drain pipe. Overall, very pleased with this company. I need to get some additional work done in the back yard this spring and intend to call Ramos to do the work.

I purchased the Big Deal (Coupon Code: Landscape-1124848-1) for $249, to include Eight Hours of Landscaping and a One-Hour Landscape Design Consultation from Ramos Landscaping early this Spring. We weren't ready to start with our project right away, and they said to call them when we were ready to go. I called in May, and after a few weeks of trying to coordinate our schedules, Kevin came out and talked with my husband and I. There were several weeks of me making calls, leaving voicemails and texts to request the quote to be provided for all the work we wanted done, and finally asking for them to at least move forward with the shrub trimming and weeding work that was(at that point) desperately needed and extremely overdue and overgrown. After not hearing back after many attempts, I finally gave up in disgust. I went with a guy my neighbor recommended - Fresh Start Enterprise, who was responsive (provided a quote within 48 hours of meeting!) priced very well, and completed the work as scheduled and on budget...I'll write a review for him later!

The job went very well. William was there every day to make sure the work was done according to my specifications. They came the first day and had almost everything tore out! Very fast and efficient. Putting in the new pation took some time due to the size, but it turned out better than I would have ever expected. William was great at giving his input and his ideas were great! He changed a few things on my original plan for the better. I can not say enough good things about the job he and his staff did. I received 4 estimates and decided to go with Ramos Landscaping because they had the best reviews. Their estimate also came in $10k lower than every other one, but the work done was top quality. I have got so many compliments about my yard! They would have been on budget if I did not add a few additional things!

We agreed on the work to be done and the price. He was always polite and willing to do the work as I envisioned it. He offered further services, such as help with the patio, but I already had an agreement with another contractor, so that was no problem. I am still amazed that the walkway made of brick on the side of the house that was full of weeds in between the bricks, etc., looks like it was just laid! Very good work overall. I would recommend him to my friends.

The service went well. I had them clean up perineal plants, trim trees, trim hedges, mow and edge some beds. A crew of about 4-5 people came out and were out all day. The staff was clean, efficient and timely. They asked good questions and made sure what they were doing was within my standards. I had no problem scheduling them out for the service. I have even continued service with them for mowing the lawn.

Great job by a great crew of guys. No negatives at all. I've never seen a harder working crew. Would recommend to anyone.

I have a 35 ft retaining wall that needs to be replaced due to no drainage in the existing wall. Ramos Landscaping could have sent a bid and did the work; however they were honest and advised me a general contractor would probably save me money and be able to address all the issues with my home. I need the band board on the home replaced in addition to the retaining wall. It speaks very highly of a company to walk away from work to save a homeowner money. Hard to find honesty when the economy is not doing so well. Thank you Ramos Landscaping!
