Description of Work: I used J. M. Construction to remodel the basement and the kitchen.

Description of Work: We had JM Construction remodel 2 bathrooms.

Description of Work: This provider was the contractor for our recent kitchen remodel. They installed granite countertops, glass tile backsplash, replaced lighting with recessed LED lights, installed LED color changing over and under counter lights, built new cabinet to change a desk planning area into a serving bar area, replaced kitchen facuet, sink, and garbage disposal, installed new baseboards, wall and door planks and new bar area. They did all of the work with the exception of the countertop installation which they did oversee. They were not the lowest bid but they were worth every penny. Sometimes you have to pay for quality like this.

Description of Work: We contracted JM Construction to finish our basement (about 1100 sq ft) and worked with Jim Merkel throughout the project. The project began late June 2012 and was completed in six weeks. His staff was professional, courteous, and on time. Jim emphasized that in order for the project to go smoothly and be completed in the timeframe we wanted, we needed to decide and select (tile, cabinets, hardware, countertop, carpet, etc.) certain items from the get-go, we did. His contract was straight forward, by that I mean, he broke down cost, materials, labor, city permit, timetable for payment, what we were responsible for buying, etc. He was on site on a regular basis and kept in touch with us to make sure we were satisfied with the work (we were). No major glitches were encountered and the project was finished on time. One thing I think JM Construction would benefit from is a little more creativity in their designs. We received our Certificate of Occupancy and are enjoying our new "lower level". We would certainly contract JM Construction again.

Description of Work: Remodeled kitchen and two bathrooms, new flooring and trim, refaced fireplace, new glass block portion of enty wall. (new tile and flooring) Installed new appliances, cabinets, lighting. New electrical outlets. Was very professional. Does quality work. If it isn't right they will correct it. Will come back during the first year to correct any problems after they leave the job. They do excellent work and strive for your complete satisfaction.

Description of Work: I had my tiny kitchen combined with the old family room into one large useable kitchen. They also installed wood flooring through out th house excluding the bedrooms. In 2006 I had three baths up dated. I liked their work and they did exactly as I had asked. What more could you want?

Description of Work: They installed marble tile in our laundry room.

Description of Work: JM Construction supplied countertops, sinks, appliances and so forth for us.

Description of Work: Two bathrooms were remodeled. In the Master bath they replaced the entire shower unit, removed the 2 sinks and vanities and replaced them with a single sink and a dropped down area to be used as a cosmetic table with a drawer. They installed a new vanity and new counter tops with framed mirrors in both bathrooms. In the master bath, they painted both the ceiling and walls and put up bead board with the chair rail.

Description of Work: They put new cabinets and countertops in my average sized kitchen. They made them and installed them.

Description of Work: They removed and replaced all the ceramic tile in my kitchen, hallway, dining room and front bathroom. I have a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home.
