Very professional

We hired Chowning Heating & Cooling for a dedicated HVAC/Gas inspection of our new home. A few months later, our water heater failed and we discovered that the vent pipe was made of a dryer vent. Chowning called this a normal configuration and failed to cite this plainly visible and dangerous problem. They said specifically that it was OK/Pass. Getting up to code cost us a small fortune, and it would have been avoided had Chowning done a good job with their inspection. I called to complain and asked for resolution, expecting they would at least refund me for the cost of the inspection. They said they would kick up to management, and I never heard back from them. This company has poor business practices and has incompetent home inspectors. Steer clear at all costs.

The workers arrived prior to the scheduled appt. which really worked for me. I'm pleased with the manner in which they performed the installation of the central air conditioning system. They were courteous and professional.

They are only starting the work tomorrow. So far I am very impressed with their speed and immediate solution to my air conditioning problem. They were on time and took the time to explained my options very clearly and at a very reasonable price. They have now completed the installation of my air conditioning system. They were on prompt and arrived exactly when they said they would and they finished the job on time. They worked efficiently and were pleasant to speak with and answered all my questions. They gave me instruction to fill out the warranty papers. I had a very positive experience working with them and would highly recommend them to anyone.
