The man's name was Chis, Was timely, professional and explained what he was doing. He did not leave a mess, unlike othersI have used in the past. I would recommend them to others

We had hired Bono Plumbing prior to this service for other plumbing needs, and thought their service was good quality and reasonably priced. They bidded to sell and install a water softener for us, but the brand they sold-Sterling-was not rated in the top ten of all the research data we could find, so we opted to buy another brand of water softener from another vendor. We contacted them in advance to make sure they would install a water softener from another vendor, which they said they would. At no time during my conversation with any of the staff regarding the installation, including Angie, one of the owners, was a "flat rate" mentioned. I was under the impression that as was the case with previous work, the fee would be a service call plus labor and parts. It's important to note that this was a replacement water softener, and that the basic plumbing was already in place. On the day of the installation the plumber, who had visited the week before to survey the job, worked less than two hours to install the softener. He arrived at 830, left at 1030, minus a period of about 30 minutes when he left to get a part. We also made a trip to Lowe's to obtain a discharge line at the request of the plumber. We were charged a "flat rate" of $500.00, which we felt was excessive considering the work, which the plumber referred to as "a piece of cake." We contacted Bono Plumbing the next business day, stating all of the above and requesting a refund of $250. Angie, one of the owners, contacted me today and stated that the most they would refund would be $100. Angie stated their labor rate is $125/hour, which still would not justify the fee of $500 when the job was less than 2 hours, even with the addition of the service call and parts. Based on this failure to provide upfront pricing and what we feel is a lack of customer service responsiveness, we can not recommend Bono Plumbing to others.

Everything went very well. I will use this company again. Price point was where I needed it to be. Customer service was excellent from the technicians on the job to the workers in the home office. Very good experience overall.

Very personable, work was professional- he had to reconfigure the plumbing below the sink that was unexpected. Work was completed in the one hour service, the only additional charge was for parts. Would definitely use again.

Showed up on time, very polite. Changed out a drain. Used my trash can in the bathroom for the dirty water and old parts. It was not dripping when they left. Within thirty days began to drip due to poor installation. I had to have another plumber come out to fix the work. UPDATE: 3.21.2016:: I actually did contact the company after finding out about the leak. They replied that it would be an additional $186 if they had to fix a faulty part. (if it was not their fault) If the part wasn't faulty and it was how it was installed, they would offer to fix it for free. I didn't want to risk having to pay extra costs (if it turned out not to be their fault) so I went with someone else who told me it wasn't sealed and tightened down enough. I felt this deal was a bait and switch.

It was great. Chris was very nice and helpful. He explained what had been wrong with the old pipe and why we had the problem we did and he put in a new one and it works great!

They responded very quickly, arrived on time and worked professionally and efficiently. They cleaned up their mess and were very professional during the entire process. I would definitely recommend Bono Plumbing in the future.

They were the only one of the 3 plumbers we called that called us back. They set up a time and showed up when they said they would. They identified the problem immediately. They made arrangements to come back the next week. They called and said they would be an hour late. They performed the work just as they said and charged what they estimated. Happy with the service.

Replaced a fitting on cold water pipe, spent almost an hour on a shower to just tell my the insides needed replaced. Was told it would cost me a trip charge. Paid an additional amount for "time" spent diagnosing. After calling multiple times over the period of a MONTH was finally told it was going to cost $170 instead of the $50 additional. I feel like I fell for the old bait and switch, very dissatisfied with my service.

All went well. My questions were answered and the provider was professional, neat, and courteous. So far, I am pleased with the replacement of an aged sump pump.

John, the Plumber Technician, arrived a few minutes ahead of the precise time of the scheduled appointment, which I greatly appreciated. He was very professional and courteous and completed the repair after troubleshooting the causes. He also made sure that all parts of the existing faucet installation were correctly tightened and functioning before leaving. I was very impressed by the responsiveness of Bono Plumbing as well as appreciative, as this appointment was scheduled immediately for the next morning, as the shut-offs were not completely stemming the flow of water below the vanity sink. I also received several emails and a telephoned confirmation immediately after securing the appointment. I would not hesitate to call Bono Plumbing again if the need arises.

I was told that the Pressure Regulator Valve in my house needed to be replaced. Bono Plumbing called to let me know when they would arrive and arrived on time. The plumber brought a replacement part, but after checking and adjusting the existing valve, determined that a replacement wasn't needed.

Unfortunately, our experience with this company was not good. The technician used the augur on the tub drain and then turned his attention to the floor drain behind the tub. This is where both our washing machine and whole-house dehumidifier were draining to. We have since learned that our set-up, which had been in use for decades, is against code. However, our technician did not tell us that on the date of service. He only said that he had replaced the drain cover so that stray items wouldn?t fall into the floor drain. What he didn't tell us was that he hadn?t put the ?90? pipe that drains the washing machine or the drainage tube from the dehumidifier back into the floor drain. Later that day, we started a load of wash and went upstairs. We came back downstairs later and our marmoleum floor and some of the nearby carpeting was soaked. After five years of us carefully keeping our remodeled basement floor dry, a plumbing company has ruined it, since marmoleum flooring is never supposed to come into contact with water. It is now bowing at the seams and continues to smell horrible. After initial phone contact with the owner on the date of service, it became increasingly difficult to get our calls returned. When we eventually were able to connect days later, we explained that our floor was ruined. He said he would have to go back to the office to see what "they" say regarding what to do. He said he would get back with us later in the day or early the next day. That was on December 7. Two weeks later, we still have not heard from the owner.

We needed an old kitchen faucet replaced. Bob called when he was on the was as asked & not only replaced our old beat up faucet with our new 1 & notified us of a non-code issue which he fixed for us while replacing the faucet. Great job & will definitely be calling Bono Plumbing in the future.

The communication with the office once we purchased the special offer was exemplary. The plumber contacted us to see if we could accommodate his earlier arrival which was more beneficial to our schedule. So of course we welcomed it. Mr. Personality, Chris Pratt, arrived immediately giving us his business card ( along with our newspaper that was still in our driveway!!!!) . Some background : we had two previous attempts to fix this toilet( one a handyman and one a plumber) and both said they fixed it and days later it was back to its old ways. Chris immediately assessed the problem and offered us two solutions and once we chose the direction we wanted he was right on it! He gave us an education along with the repair. He was so gracious and actually gave my 92 year old mother the warmest greeting when he saw her! ( she had been in her bedroom when he initially arrived) . We would recommend Bono Plumbing to anyone who is looking for plumbing issues not only because of their excellent work but also because they get what Customer Service is all about! I purchased their special and it was well worth every penny!

John was punctual, courteous and got the job done fast. Bono's service call fee of $99 (covers the first hour of service) is the most reasonable I've seen in St Louis. I'm very happy to have found a good plumber here!

Went fine. Toilet still has trouble now and again, but not really Bono's fault. I wish they would have recommended long term solution when they were at house, but they did the job they were called to do

we had a toilet that was not connected to the floor, per our previous owner. bono was able to fix and replace the broken parts quickly and without incurring a bunch of extra cost. it was the price i was quoted plus a few dollars extra for the parts he needed to fix it. he explained everything to me and was very personable. I can't remember the plumber's name but i would definitely use this company again.
