I suggested to Brian over the phone before they visit a property, they assess the project using their website and then determine the customer's budget and a rough estimate. In other words, do what we did at our home but over the phone. As a business-growth consultant, I find many companies in about all industries lose business and waste time because they fail to over the phone assess the projects.

From owner down to every employee, everyone was very easy to work with. They all communicated with each other and me regularly as any issues came up (weather delays, changes in material needed/used, homeowner (my) delays) The project feels too detailed to spell out every piece. All total, there was probably 4 1/2 weeks of work completed over the course of the summer and fall as other contractors completed work on our home. The quality of the work is indescribable. The owner and designer checked in with me regularly to make sure things were as I expected. I am still especially impressed with the paver patio and how precise every piece of it is placed to ensure proper drainage and use. I realize this would seem like a given, but our back yard presented difficulties I think a lesser company might have not taken the time to address properly for for long term use. I was also very impressed with the work of the carpenter they subcontracted for the additional work.

We got three bids but we still haven't been able to hire anybody yet. The bid from Timberline was excellent. They gave us the bid on May 3rd.

Their price was high. They did a good job, and I know it was a tricky tree to get down. They cleaned up excellent.

Our firms have worked together for over a year in a developer-contractor relationship on a challenging multi-phase project in downtown St. Louis. With each phase, Timberline's employees have proven to be exceedingly reliable and capable of completing tasks as scheduled. Our particular project encompassed a full range of challenges in an urban environment including landscape design and installation that also incorporated existing plantings, a hardscape task involving removal and replacement of tiered retaining walls in a difficult below-grade location, planning and installation of an irrigation system, and the installation of sidewalk street trees that involved coordination and approvals from a quasi-governmental agency. On top of all that, Timberline not only met the challenge, but was able to meet our very tough scheduling requirements so that this project was ready for multiple launches of marketing campaigns. Their prices are upfront, honest and very competitive.
