IMPORTANT - THE CONTRACTOR'S NAME IS JOHN MURRAY< NOT JOHN MEADE. YOUR SITE WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO CORRECT THE NAME, SO PLEASE CORRECT. HE IS AN INDEPENDENT, UNBONDED CONTRACTOR WITH NO WEBSITE. WAS RECOMMENDED BY THE PRIMARY CONTRACTOR WHO RENOVATED OUR HOUSE. THE JOB WENT VERY POORLY. He replaced the drain but left it poorly fitting and still leaking. He also uncaulked the pedestal skirt and left it free-floating. Didn't tell me about the latter, and he said the leak was fixed so I paid him $180. As soon as he left (we could not fit in the bathroom together in this time of social distancing to review the work together), I checked the faucet and it was still leaking and the drain was improperly seated with black gasket revealing from the top. I asked him to come back and fix the seating and link, and he returned, only to create another leak and to restrict the water flow to the point that it is now not flowing properly. He left saying the leak was fixed, but as soon as I checked, I could see it was not. I've asked for a refund twice, and he has not complied, so I feel compelled to report him here - for work he said he did (lying) but did not do, and for leaving me with more problems now to fix. Again, he is an independent contractor (referred by our primary contractor), but he has no website or business name other than his, which is John Murray, not John Meade. Sorry.
