He gave me an estimate to remove a tree stump in my front yard. He said he would be there the following weekend. Saturday came and he didn't show up. I called him and the woman who answered said he would call me back. Sunday came and went. I then called him on Tues. and left a message. He never returned my call. I wasn't sure if the job wasn't big enough or if there was some other reason why he didn't want the job.

Reasonable Prices, great service and went above my expectations by topping out a few dead trees without any additional cost.

Great. On time, reasonable price.

Everything went great. They arrived around 9:30 am and worked until approximately 2:30 pm. They quietly took breaks to rest and eat their lunch and then went back to work. They didn't play music or talk much.....just worked and got the job done. After they completed the job, they requested that we look over the work to make sure it was done as requested and it was.

This gentleman was very professional as was his crew. They periodically came to my door and ask me to look at what they had done and see if it fit what I had hoped for. They worked hard and steady and did an awesome job. I would highly recommend them. They also do other things like clean high windows and hang Christmas lights.

I telephoned Roger at Discount Tree Service for an estimate. He came over that same day and gave me an estimate. I agreed to the price and scheduled the work for Saturday January 12 if weather permitted. Roger called Saturday morning and said he would be right over. He arrived a short time later and ground the three stumps as planned. He cleaned up the area before leaving. Roger was very professional and I was very pleased with his work. If I need stumps removed in the future I will call Discount Tree Service again.

They did everything on time as expected. They were very professional.

manthat an and his son came early and asked if they could drive in yard which I had no problem with. they trimmed the tree the way I wanted asking how I wanted it done. I asked if he could trim a bush in front an he told me that was no problem he would no charge me. then cleaned up and I did not even know they was there when they was done I am very pleased and they were very professional

It went very well. They came out in the morning about 10 AM, trimmed, cut, loaded, and at 6 PM the work was done to our satisfaction. We will definitely call this company again.

Under the circumstances it went well. It was in the immediate aftermath of a devastating tornado so Roger was confronted with finding an available dump site for the debris. He was also challenged finding good help. Although the job took a bit longer than he planned he and his crew worked consistently and constantly until it was finished. I would definitely hire him again.

We had a tornado rip through Joplin, MO on 5-22-11 and i had several broken limbs in my trees. I wanted to remove 2 of the trees from my property for a long time and figured this would be a great time. My neighbor was also looking to remove a couple of trees and he contacted Discount Tree and Stump Removal. These guys with a crew of 3 was able to remove 4 hard to reach trees, grind the stumps, and remove debris/mulch in about 3 days. I have to recommend these guys, and will use them in the future!

Roger did a great job. Showed up on a Saturday and performed all the work by himself and it was lots of tree limbs to cut and load. This was a rental; he called me to come over to see if it was to my satisfaction. It was. Very professional and would call again.

Overall, it was a great experience. I found their info on Angie's list and gave them a call for an estimate on the work. We have a large wooded lot with several problem areas that have needed to be taken care of for a while now. The previous owners of the home let everything grow out of control and failed to keep a manicured lot. We have just now lived in our home for about four months and are doing a complete landscape overhaul. Roger, the main guy, showed up to give me an estimate exactly when he said he would and we were very pleased with the price he gave us for the job. He was excellent about communicating with us throughout the entire job. He showed up when he said he would and worked hard all day,everyday that he was here with his crew. He came to us and asked about specifics to make sure that he was doing everything that we wanted the way we wanted it done. He was very careful to make sure that he was not getting too close to our house, etc. while doing the work. Having gotten approximately six quotes on this job, I was excited to see that he could do the job for that price. The others would have done it for the same price, but only have taken out three trees. We feel like we got so much work for the money. Contractors often do not show up on time and work diligently while at the job site, but Discount Tree certainly did! They cleaned up so nicely after the job was done and I really feel like they were mindful of being respectful to our yard in making sure to not damage the grass or do unnecessary harm to the property. I would definitely use them again for any other tree/shrub removal and will recommend them also! Thanks Discount Tree! I couldn't have asked for more!
