The father, Stacy, an individual who believed strongly in his product, process, and methodology. Factor #2. The son, Ryan, a tall skinny young man who probably weighed less than a hundred and forty pounds. When Ryan entered the garage and informed me he would be moving items, heavy and large, in preparation for the next day's floor installation. I looked at him and made a joke about his possible inability to do very much. I left the garage and reappeared less than an hour later. I was absolutely shocked at the progress he had made. "I have never been so disappointed in the integrity of a person. Joel had "one hour" left on our deck and I had a meeting so went ahead and paid the remaining balance (I know, dumb!). He didn't finish, cashed our check, and now 4 weeks later has never returned to finish the job despite repeated text messages that he was coming back. The sad thing is he did a good job but he will never get a recommendation from me and I will tell everyone I know to never hire him. So unfortunate."
