The Spot Man

He was a rip off, he charged me to much and did a horrible job. Came back as spots were coming back, and sprayed it but made it worse. So I just got out my rug shampooer and did it myself.

The area was small with some splashes. The tech dyed the fibers and did an excellent job of matching the color. After the dye dried, some bleached fibers began to show up again. The owner said that this is not uncommon, and the tech came out again at no charge. A few of the fibers were too damaged to take the dye, and he used a marker on these fibers. The carpet looks great! We understand that the fibers treated with a marker will need to be re-touched periodically, but this solution saved us from a much more costly replacement. It was very nice dealing with this company, and the tech was great!

As always, the Spotman crew was excellent. Ukiah(?) is his name. Very personable, helpful, prompt, professional. We have dogs, and per Spotman's guarantee, all problematic spots were removed. Used a coupon, too. Carpet looks great. We always use Spotman...

Technicians were awesome and very hard working. I highly recommend this company.

Their website said they could clean old-fashioned oil-finish/varnished wood floors. I was home while they worked, and soon noticed that they were using a cleaner diluted with a lot of water. You are never supposed to use water on any kind of wood floor, whether it has an oil or a polyurethane finish. When I commented on this, I was told that this is how they always clean wood floors, and they proceeded with the same cleaning solution. The finish was left dull and opaque-looking after they left. We were able to bring the finish back with a solvent-based wood cleaner/polish. The other thing is that they pulled back and tucked up some light beige curtains in order to work, and the curtains now have dirt and grime on them. The technicians were very pleasant, courteous and professional.

It went very well. Daniel was very thorough, professional and courteous. Got out spots we didn't think he could. Cleaned an area that had had a huge desk sitting on for 26 years. Erased it's "footprints" and got rid of marks left by the legs. Also did a second attempt on an area where we had spilled printer ink/toner. It is barely noticeable now. We were so pleased!

Daniel, the tech, showed up on time at 8am. He took about 2 hours and did a great job. He answered all questions knowledgeably and professionally. All providers we explored seemed pricey , The Spot Man was as affordable as any of them.

It went very well, as outlined above. The two young men doing the work were exceptionally hard-working and polite.

I exclusively use the Spot Man for my office carpet cleaning. They do a wonderful job and if something isn't right they come back and fix it. Ukiah the technician is awesome. I request him every time.

Somewhat more expensive, but worth the extra cost. All spots are gone and carpet looks good. Much better experience than with previous providers at a cheaper price.

I was not compleely thrilled with the final results. It was not his fault though, the stain had already set in.

They did a fantastic job. There were stains that other carpet cleaning companies were unable to remove. But the Spot Man got them out. They worked very hard trying different solutions until they found one that worked. Some of our carpet is berber and they use a different solution for that than for the synthetic fibers. The carpets were much cleaner than with other companies. The carpet on the main floor stairway looks brand new (it is 20 years old). They did have to return to retreat some areas but in the end all of the spots were removed. I had them return 3 times and each time and each time there was less to do. Some stubborn spots or stains required more than one treatment, but they did come out eventually. The Spot Man did as promised. I was really amazed.

I contacted them by phone to ask about the likelihood of being able to remove stains from my handmade wool area rug. They were honest about what they could and could not do. I brought the rug to their shop and was able to pick it up a week later. Looks great!

Overall, it went very well. The couch that was cleaned was excellent. I couldn't tell much difference between the job of the chain carpet cleaner and this service.

Mr. Ukiah did a fantastic job! He was very thorough and made sure all stains were removed. I have already recommended to friends. It may cost more, but after seeing the results and time spent - it is well worth it!
