They also gave me a free outside insect prevention treatment for free, due them having to cancel two previous appointments due to the weather. I thought that was a nice gesture, even though the cancellations were not their fault.

I am 100% pleased with the whole process from purchasing the offer, to scheduling, to project completion! I had secured a quote for this project by another company, but luckily found B&D's special offer on Angie's List at 1/2 that price before I had committed to the other company (no brainer). Next "wow", I received a call from B&D Pest Solutions within ONE HOUR of placing my order through Angie's List. The technician who called me (I don't remember her name) had great telephone customer service skills, was very professional while also being friendly and easy to talk to. She was even able to schedule treatment for the date/time that worked best for me. Final "wow", Kevin and Jacob arrived at the scheduled date/time, dressed professionally and respectable. They explained what needed to be done and how they were going to do it, then got to right to work. Both gentlemen were pleasant, polite and efficient with completing the treatment. The young man who manages the St. Louis location, and whose brother owns the company, failed to call or show for the first appointment on our annual maintenance program. The appointment was made in person during the consultation and was scheduled less than one week later. The office personnel did accommodate my time frame for the rescheduled appointment. Another representative from the company serviced our needs. We have not heard from the manager to date.

B&D had a truck breakdown on the day of scheduled treatment, but called to advise and reschedule. Service was great and still had treatment done a day before the party. Jake was knowledgeable and did a great job.

They were very responsive and great to work with. We had an ant uprising after their initial visit, so they were happy to come back at no charge and spray again.

After a couple hours of price shopping and leaving messages, I got in touch with B&D Pest Solutions and Jake offered to come out within the hour to look at the project and give an estimate. We were able to quickly agree on a fair price and he came back two days later to get started. Their work was very professional, clean, quick and thorough. I haven't been on a ladder since to see if something is still there, but I trust that the remedy worked. I wasn't anticipating that you could see wiring (to block the entrance for the animal) from the ground as there is a wire fence-like structure where the gable meets the roof, so from an aesthetic stand point, I am mildly disappointed. I had assumed that it would be smaller and only block the entryway and not be a fence-like structure around the whole fascia-roof joint. That said, I think they did effective work and were very professional in how they went about it. I am mostly satisfied with the quality of the work and for that reason, I would consider hiring them again. My prime complaint is with the price and the misleading "deal" promoted by Angie's List. It was way more expensive than anticipated. I had purchased a $39 Angie's list deal for animal removal that basically served as a downpayment-only toward the nearly eight times price. It is the second time that I've purchased a "deal" from Angie's list that really was designed to benefit the service provider, not the consumer, by paying them to come give me an estimate, essentially, with the disadvantage of already sinking money into this provider so shopping around is disincentivized. There was no discount associated with buying this "deal." I understand that the business model of Angie's List has evolved to be more commercially-supported than member-supported than originally intended, which cuts at the whole reason to use Angie's List. It is "buyer beware" even when purchasing from Angie's List! So I blame both the provider and Angie's List for the extreme discrepancy between the "deal" and what it actually cost for the service. (Note: I had read the "deal" and was well aware that it was only for the "live trapping" and not the return for the removal so I knew that it would cost more, but the discrepancy between $39 and $300 is much more than I anticipated or felt was reasonable).

Company completed fall service. Will schedule spring service in a few more months. Service was great. Would definitely use them again.

Not very good. It was a holiday weekend and the guy wouldn't come and take care of anything over a holiday. He said I'm not gonna put any traps in over the holiday I said oh so I hear the animals and you won't come and pick them up.

They called to remind us of the appointment, and came when they promised, They located the entry points, and fixed them quickly for a reasonable price. Very pleased!

It seemed to go well. We've not noticed any further animal activity.
