Last weekend I needed emergency dental work. I called two dentists for whom I am not a patient. Both offered to treat me and did an outstanding job. My family will switch to this dentist. Contrast that to 15 minutes ago. I called this company who told me they do not take emergency calls from non-clients. That is what I will remain, a non-client.

He checked everything until he located the cause, made an adjustment which greatly improved the situation. We liked that he explained the way it worked and suggested a possible change in equipment we could do immediately or in the future. He only charged for the visit.

Very responsive. Reasonable price. Fixed the dishwasher. Good work.

The plumber, Clayton, was extremely courteous and very efficient. Water line is code compliant, and was finished in less than an hour. I've used OJ Laughlin on other small plumbing jobs. Always satisfied with their work.

It did not go! We contacted Laughlin at 9:00 am and were advised that we would receive a call back. At 2:05 pm, we again called and after some delay, during which we listened to a commercial which praised Laughlin, were told that they would not do our repair until Friday. Needless to say, we will not be using or calling that plumber again.

Clayton from OJ Laughlin was professional, pleasant and efficient. He had the additional materials needed. Completed the job, cleaned up and left me determined to use this company again when a plumbing need arises.

Fine! This is the 3rd time I have used O.J. Laughlin, and this is the 3rd time all went well. This may be weird to notice and care about, Their plumbers have always been dressed nicely, shirts tucked in and professional looking. I don't know the cost yet. He was just here and they will send a bill. He was here just under an hour.

The shower knob on my shower broke and I bought a Moen replacement knob and attempted to install it myself. I’ve done it before so I knew it was easy to do. However, I put it on upside down and after screwing it on, the knob wouldn’t budge. I figured there must be something more seriously wrong with the shower like the cartridge. Not wanting to screw it up, I decided to call a plumber. I had a plumbing company I'd been using for the past 8 years but they are in the process of selling their business and aren’t accepting any new work. So I had to find a new company. I found O.J. Laughlin Plumbing Company on Angie’s List. When I made the appointment, I had to wait almost 2 weeks for an opening. I never had to wait more than a day or two with the other company. Thank goodness I have 2 bathrooms. Even so, having to wait that long for a repairman was a bit of an inconvenience. The plumber arrived on 4/26/16 at the scheduled time. I could see that what he did to fix the knob was to point the knob in the opposite direction from where I had it. I should have put the knob on pointing downward instead of upward so that was my mistake. . He used my replacement knob and his screwdriver. He was in my house about 3 minutes. I just received the bill and it was $155.00. I have no problem with paying a service charge, however $155.00 is absurd for the work performed. I'd have gladly paid a 30-minutes service charge and they'd have still made money. I am a first-time and now a last-time customer because I will not use their services again.

It was okay. The work was one adequate but I felt they were overpriced. Nothing stood out either way. They were fine. It hasn’t leaked.

A prompt response was received from O. J. Laughlin when I placed a request for the repair work. I called their office to set up an appointment which was within a few days. They called 20 minutes before arriving for the appointment, which I really appreciated. The appointment was set for 1-3:00 p.m., the plumber arrived around 2:00. The plumber took apart the 18-year old disposal and replaced the old rubber splash guard with a new one I purchased from Home Depot within about 30 minutes. During that time he also cleaned out the PVC pipe connected to the disposal which was filled with a lot of sediment, thus saving me from having a clogged drain in the near future. Even though this was a small job, the plumber handled it professionally. Since I am retired, I also appreciated having their discount coupon to use for this first-time service request. I am thrilled to have the clean new splash guard since the old one was almost completely worn away. Thank you, O.J. Laughlin.

He arrived on time and was very professional. After the repair he explained what he fixed and how. He also explained how to properly turn off water to the house if it hasn't been done in quite some time. They are always good to explain about what they're doing and how to maybe avoid the same problem in the future. We've used them for years and would recommend them to our friends and family.

Called for a clogged toilet. Was told that Dan was at lunch and that he would call as soon he returned. Called back around 2 hours later and was told, "oh yeah, I left a note on his desk but he went into a scheduling meeting." If I was calling to schedule non-emergency work, I can understand waiting to call back but not when our house is without a working toilet. Frustrating...

I have used O.J. Laughlin Plumbing Company several times. This time Mike Luebbert came on the call. He has been here before so it was great to see someone I knew and to see someone I knew was very competent. He quickly identified the cause of my problem and quickly and professionally went right to work. I would definitely use them in the future and would gladly recommend anyone to use their services.

I left a message on a Sunday. The phone answering machine listed off a long list of people with their extensions and the last item was for leaving a message in the general mailbox. This was the option I selected. No one ever returned my call. I have used this plumber in the past and would still try to use them in the future but I think they need to check their system. I also suggest the extension for the general mailbox should be the first thing said on the message and then it can go into a by name listing. Just my opinion.

It went very well. He knew what he was doing.

Could not be better - prompt, polite, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. There's not much to add there.

They were very good. We like them a lot.

I didn't want to do it from the inside because it is messy to use a snake from the inside of the house. They had to do it through the roof, so they had to come back because they don't allow 1 person to go a 2 story roof by themselves to do the snaking. They had only sent 1 person out initially, not realizing they had to do it from the roof.

They're prompt, very courteous, professional, and do very good work. I've used them for 25 years.

Over the past eight years, I have used Laughlin Plumbing for a kitchen remodel, two bathroom remodels, and a basement refinish. Our plumber has always been informed, honest, and reasonable. It is not always easy to find someone in the service industry that you trust. I trust O. J. Laughlin and would recommend them to anyone needing plumbing services

OJ Laughlin is the only plumbing company I call for service. They had a technician at my house within a few hours, and he was absolutely great! Always very friendly, taking the time to explain everything to me in detail. I trust them completely! (The technician even repaired my door while he was waiting - who does that kind of thing anymore?!) The quality of work is always top-notch, and I never question that I'm getting the best service. OJ Laughlin is clearly a company that treasures the old-time values - deliver quality at a reasonable price - with a smile!

Michael was on time, quickly determined the issue, and took care of everything. We've used OJ Laughlin two other times including replacing our water heater and they have been great every time.

I had a hot water heater leaking plus two outside faucets that were also leaking and I called to get an estimate on repairing all three issues. They told me that due to the age of the hot water heater they could not offer repair services, but gave me a quote on replacing the hot water heater. I agreed to the work and scheduled an appointment for a few days later. They arrived on time, did the work I asked for quickly and efficiently. After the hot water heater was replaced the plumber checked out the water faucets and decided to replace both of them. The plumber cleaned up after himself, explained everything he did in a very courteous manner and asked me to call back if there were any issues (there were none). I was very happy with the service received.

The guy said he couldn't repair the sprayer as the kitchen faucet was poor quality, there was a frayed wire in my garbage disposal (which no one told him to look at), and the pipes under my sink were low quality (they were functioning fine). When I asked him to focus on the leaky sprayer he said now that he had seen the rest he couldn't walk away. He told me to buy a new kitchen faucet and he would return, install it and fix everything. I was livid and did not want him back but did to get it over with. On the second visit after a few minutes he asked if I had an electrician. I said yes. He said good because I broke your garbage disposal. I said fix it. He said he couldn't. He did install the new faucet that I didn't need or want. I asked if he replaced the "cheap pipes". He said no they didn't need it. I was going to give them an F, but upped it to a C as he didn't bill me for the first visit. I would never have them back or recommend them. My new garbage disposal is still broken.
