They were quick and prompt. I thought it was a little expensive, but I think that's normal for that service. Their price wasn't bad comparitively.

I was using them for the second time. The guy from O J Laughlin Plumbing was unsure as to how long it would take to complete the job. I basically paid $300 for the job and when the plumber came out, he was already there for 5 hours at my house. It was amazing when I looked back at the workmanship that he did and the minor details he looked into, it was just first-class. I was extremely satisfied with the work that O J Laughlin Plumbing did for me. Especially when they knew that they were not getting paid as much as they thought their time was probably worth. So I was very happy with how it turned out. I am not a big fan of their website though; I think it?s ridiculous.

Contacted them for an estimate and found everyone(Tom and John) to be quite friendly and helpful. The job was set-up and the plummer(Mike) arrived on time, worked quickly and effieciently to do the requested work. Overall he was very professional. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I didn't really get an estimate. I had good experience with OJ Laughlin before and trusted they would do a good job again. I got an appt in about 10 days, partly because it was when I would be off work. The plumber arrived promptly, and was able finish the job in less than a morning, despite the hot water supply pipe unexpectedly needing to be replaced. It was corroded so badly it was amazing we hadn't had any leakage problems. The job accomplished with minimal fuss and mess. The final product looks and works great.

He was fair and stuck to the price. They were very considerate and contained the mess, which was my biggest concern. They were very professional and I was pleased with the experience.

Easy (if spending $700 on plumbing can be considered easy) to get estimate and work done. On time and explained the work and completed it in a timely fashion.

They came out on time to do the work and they made sure to clean up after themselves. I give OJ Laughlin all A's.

There was a whole network of pipes from some work done before and the guy took that all out and put in a much more efficient system. The first time he put it through there was a leak, so he stayed with the job until it was completed.

The guy was a twerp. When the guy came in he said that he couldn't repair it and that what I had was a piece of junk, when I paid about $800 for it and knew it wasn't a piece of junk. I think he thought he was dealing with someone stupid.

Overall, the experience went well. He had the opportunity to take advantage of me with a faucet upstairs in my kids? bathroom and he did not. He just screwed it back on again.

We had water coming up through our basement floor. The technician came out and cabled the kitchen sink clean out drain. He determined that there was a problem with the pipe under the floor. The next day, two workers came to jack hammer the cement floor and remove the broken pipe. The pipe was indeed coroded. They completely replaced the broken pipe, cabled again to make sure they had it all fixed, then replace the concrete floor.

Went very well. They were professional and easy to talk with on the phone. The scheduling was easy and convenient. The serviceman was ontime, clean, and very polite and knowledgable. He answered all sorts of questions for me after he finished.

The finished in the appropriate amount of time. They were professional but I do wish I had done it myself because of the money. Curtis was on time and courteous.

They have been extremely helpful. We had a very bad experience with a company that put in our basement's drainage system. In the process of putting in the system, that company crushed our sewer line. We didn't know that for a couple of months. OJ Laughlin really demonstrated that the other company had messed things up. They were very patient with us.

We were able to schedule our appointment within a few days of calling. The plumber was prompt and professional. He had to replace the exterior faucet and do some work on the interior pipes in order to complete the repair. We will definitely consider them for our future plumbing needs.

O J Laughlin Plumbing is one of the most professional organizations I've ever worked with. Starting with my initial phone call, the service was excellent. Everyone was extremely friendly. The plumber was courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient, in addition to keeping his work areas very clean. He was very punctual and completed the work to my satisfaction.

I called them and set up appt. The showed up right on time.They Had the right special tool to pull out old valve stem. Had it replaced with a new stem in about 20 minutes. it was impressive to see how prepared they were.

Fantastic. After the initial estimate and discussion of other options, they made a follow-up visit to plan the work in more detail and map the existing lines. Once they came to do the work, they made every effort not to cause too much residual damage, and they succeeded. We have a 72 year old home with nearly all lines made of lathe and plaster. Fortunately we have a coat closet that is (recently redone) drywall that contained the plumbing. They cut careful holes in one wall and the ceiling, and with these holes and a small access panel upstairs were able to complete the work without disturbing any hardwood or tile floors, or any plaster walls or ceilings. One interesting thing about the estimate, they stated a price but not a length of time. Turns out the repairman spent three full days doing the work, but did the work properly and was very careful. No dirt or damage to floors, doors, etc. Cleaned up after himself, made every effort not to track dirt or dust anywhere. He even did the cutting through the drywall closet wall with the closet door closed and a wet cut, so he looked like a ghost but no dust spread around the house. All weld joints were done properly. Showed up promptly at 7:30 every morning, left around 5. Overall we were extremely happy.

I called, got an estimate and description of services, and made an appointment for later in the week. Two guys showed up and began by removing the extremely heavy old water heater. They were very careful not to damage the carpet and got it out of the house with no problems. One of the men carted off the old heater while the other stayed to install the new one. He brought the plumbing up to code and installed the new heater within an hour. The installer was very nice and did a great job. He encountered a few issues because of the old plumbing but had vast experience and dealt with them like a pro. An invoice arrived in the mail about two weeks later with the price I was estimated. The heater is working fine and I have nothing but good things to say about the service and the experience. I'm very happy to have picked a company that uses licensed, union plumbers to do the job right.

Great! The company was very responsive. They were able to schedule us promptly and the man who serviced our house was friendly, professional and informative. I will definitely use them for future plumping projects!

That was perfect! They could not come out the same date but they called the next day and worked us in. They cleaned up, were efficient and thorough.

I contacted OJ Laughlin because of periodic puddles of water in my basement. The serviceman (who came from a subcontacting company owned by a relative) diagnosed the problem as a clogged drain and recommended cleaning out the line. Since we couldn't find the sewer cleanout (I live in a rehabbed house in Soulard), he ran the snake from the cleanout in my basement. After a two hours of work, the repairman informed me that the snake was stuck somewhere in my sewer lateral and would need to be dug up. Using a camera and another tool, the repairman determined that the snake was stuck UNDER MY GARAGE FLOOR! He then informed me that my floor would have to be dug up and replaced to unclear my line (he even mentioned at one point bringing in a backhoe). Needless to say, I was shocked and beginning to regret using a referral from Angies List. Eventually, the owner of OJ Laughlin called me and calmed some of my concerns. He felt certian that just a small piece of my floor would be sawed out and the problem fixed. In fact, he thought the snake was actually trapped in my seemingly-hidden sewer cleanout. The repair crew arrived at my house promptly on Monday. After an hour of work, they called me to take a look. The snake was caught in my cleanout, which had been covered over when the previous owner built the garage. Moreover, the cleanout had been filled with several old bricks which further complicated getting the snake out of the lateral lne. The crew (which was actually just one young man at this point) rebuilt and raised the cleanout to floor level. He then poured new contract to fill in the 24"by24" hole cut in the floor. When he was finished at 2:00 PM, the repairman asked me to take a look at the repair. IT WAS GREAT! IF this ever happens again, then we can access the sewer cleanout from the garage. In addition, this young man cleaned my garage to remove most of the mess -- it was outstanding quality work. Finally, the owner told me that they "wouldn't charge me anything." I thought he meant just the repair and replacement of the sewer cleanout, but he meant EVERYTHING! I was shocked - I am so used to indifferent work, I was amazed to meet somone who still takes pride in their work and reputation. Needless to say, I will be OJ Laughlin's lifetime customer. I also begun referring this company to anyone witha plumbing problem.

They were top flight. The plumber had 25 plus years of experience.He explained what he was doing as he was doing it. He explained how to properly maintain my drains and faucet I have.

When we had our furnace and hot water heater inspected by the gas company, the technician was concerned that the water pressure on our main valve was too high. Curtis checked and assured me it was fine. He also checked the leak on the overflow valve on the hot water heater and took the time to explain to me how it worked and what to watch for. That didn't take the whole hour for the minimum charge--which he reminded me I was paying for--and spent the time to ask me if I had any other questions about any of the plumbing issues in our house. I did have some and he even explained to me how I could fix the simple things myself. He also showed me where all the shut-off valves were in my house and gave me safety tips for what you should do when you go on vacation. I was VERY impressed!
