I called them and they called back to say they had an opening on that day. They came out and fixed the problem in a prompt manner. They didn't give me an invoice with the total cost while they were at my house. It was sent in the mail so I didn't know what the bill would be. Other than that, I was satisfied with the work performed and would call on them again.

I called to have plumbing repairs done and when I called they gave me an estimate of around $150.00 but in the charged me $400.00. They also left a huge mess and left my basement flooded with water and told me that I would have to take care of that myself. I have called several times to discuss the bill and they will not return my calls.

On 2/15 had Laughlin to see why my toilet in the powder room was leaking. The removed it and discovered that the toilet had been installed over 2 ceramic floors so the wax seal was not tight thus the leak and rotting subfloor.They removed old toilet and capped off the pipe and left a new toilet to be installed later after the new floor was installed. On 3/6 they returned and installed new toilet. On both visits the guys explained exactly what was wrong what needed to be done to correct the situation. They were neat and covered everthing with tarps. The gentleman that put the toilet in was kind enough to also replace a valve on a shower faucet so that I wouldn't have to wait for another service visit. I have used O.J. Laughlin several times and have always been very satisfied.

Service was prompt and completed in less than an hour. Leak was fixed and toilet was reset into the floor. The price seemed a little high, but the work was completed so fast and efficiently, it was worth it.

It was easy to set up an appointment. We understood plumber would arriive at 9:00am. Called at 9"30 since he didn't arrive. The woman checked and said he was finishing up previous job and we were next. He arrived after 10:00. When I told him we were expecting him at 9:00, he ask if the office had told us between 9:00 and 11:00. We said we thought it was 9:00. Beside this little mixup, the work was done quickly and expertly. Brian quoted us a price on a disposal and suggested we see if Home Depot, Lowes, or Sears had it on sale at a lower price and he would install it. . They didn't so when he went to get it from the truck, he didn't have it but gave us an upgrade for the quoted price.While he was here he did a few minor jobs like reset a toilet that wiggled and checked on another toilet that wasn't flushing properly. Except for the mixup on time this was a very good experience and we would not hesitate to use Laughlin again.

Excellent experience, they were very professional and responsive from start to finish and had replacement units on the truck so everything was completed in one visit! The new unit was installed as expected and works great, I would use them again for any plumbing problems.

I called on 12/28/11 and John Laughlin finally came out for an inspection 1/9/12. John talked with my tenant in detail about the job and frightened them about the large scope and mess it would produce. He told them it would be two full days of work plus the loss of use of the upstairs bathroom. He also discussed the need for inspection of his work by the city, which is not correct. When John talked with me and my husband, owners of the house, he gave a quote of $100/hr and appeared to be selling a big job. He told us it could be thousands of dollars: tearing out my 1st floor wall, tearing out the bathroom upstairs (new five years ago) .... on and on. I always like to hear a best case and worst case scenario. All we got from John was the worst case. I don't think I can afford the company, plus John used poor judgement in discussing the problem with my tenant.

I purchased a new gas range and needed to have a gas line run to my kitchen. I tried unsuccessfully to get bids from several plumbing companies (some refused to come, saying it was too small a job, others came & looked but never sent bids, and still others gave me "ballpark" estimates but no formal bid.) I was finally referred by a friend to O.J. Laughlin. They agreed to come and look at the job and promptly gave me a bid. It was a little higher than I'd been led to believe by the other plumbers who gave me informal information, but I was very discouraged about getting anyone to agree to do this job so I decided to hire this company. They came exactly when they said they would and were very pleasant, competent and professional. In addition they installed a cutoff valve near my furnace as a safety feature (versus installing it behind the range where it would be nearly impossible to reach in event of a fire). They finished the job promptly, installed my beautiful new gas range and meticulously cleaned up. I would definitely hire them again because in addition to having highly competent, genuinely nice employees they are committed to maintaining excellent customer service, which is an increasingly rare quality.

When I came home from vacation, I found my sewer had backed up into my basement and there was 6" of standing (stinky) sewer water. I called O'Laughlin and they were here within 30 minutes and cleared the pipe coming into the house and the basement drained. Very fast, very courteous and reasonably priced.

They are totally trustworthy and come when they say they will come. I have often used the same person and they know out house layout and how to take care of my plumbing issues.

Did an excellent job. was on time, under estimate, neat and professional. Will difinately use them in the future and would recommend to family and friends.

Although Brian Schweiss arrived 10 mintes late, his service and level of professionalism were great. You could tell quickly that he had a lot of experience and knew what he was doing. He examined each bathroom first to determine the order he would work. He then quickly went about intalling the faucets. He also cleaned out the drains in each one as he installed them. He quickly diagnosed the problem with the toilet and made the necessary repairs. He was very careful not to make a mess. He cleaned up after himself in every instance. He even went out to my garage to throw away the trash he had accumulated without being asked to do so. My experience was very positive. I would definitely use O.J. Laughlin Plumbing Co again.

I selected O.J. Laughlin based upon Angie's List reports/ratings. An appointment was easily arranged that would meet my need. The repairman arrived on schedule, in fact early! We immediately surveyed the issues, and Mike L. gave me an initial opinion on what would likely be required to solve the problems. As his estimates seemed reasonable and very well explained to me, I agreed to have him proceed with all repairs. I was impressed with his straight forward and professional assessments which convinced me that that he was honest and not simply trying to inflate the costs! Mike replaced the faucet cartridge in the shower fixture (I was amazed and pleased that complete replacement was not required). The kitchen faucet did require complete replacement, as I had expected. I purchased a kitchen fixture from him, as I had told the person with whom I had made the appointment that I likely would do (due to restricted mobility on my part). Mike kept me informed throughout the process, and was efficient, careful but fast, and very neat and clean in completing the tasks. Cleanup on my part was negligible! I was completely satisfied with the entire project!

Mike (from O J Laughlin) arrived exactly on time & we started by discussing the various plumbing projects & answered questions. Mike then began the 2 projects in our master bathroom-installing the new shower head & repairing the sink drain. Mike was not only knowledgeable & skilled but also took the time to explain each facet of his work. Once he finished the plumbing work in the bathroom, he then asked additional questions relative to the backflow valve to make sure he understood the problem. His questions not only helped to clarify the problem but also identified that the problem actually began during the winter, which targeted his problem solving efforts. When he removed the broken valve, he also showed exactly what was wrong with the valve & why it caused the outside backflow pipes to leak. We couldn't have asked for a more thorough service representative NOR could we be more pleased with the work performed.

We had an excellent experience with Michael. He showed up early, explained everything as he went along and did a fantastic job. The area he was working in was clean when he left. He took away the old plumbing & sink for us as well. We will definitely use O.J. Laughlin Plumbing again!

Michael Luebbert was perfect in his work. He was clean, extremely polite and professional. He was also extremely efficient Several months later the toilet began to run. At which time I discovered the flapper he installed was not Fluidmaster , but a cheap hard plastic off brand. I had requested Fluidmaster parts to be installed, and was charged a substantial amount for the flapper. I had trusted he had done the job as requested. I am very disappointed by the deception. Would not use again.

I requested that OJ Laughlin Plumbing come out and investigate a leak that seemed to be coming from our water heater. They came out and identified that the leak was in fact coming from the air conditioner. They did not charge us for the service call. I respect them a lot for their honesty. When I do have a water heater problem. I will definitely go with them.

The plumber was on time, courteous, and took the time to explain the various problems and fixes. I will definitely use this plumbing company in the future.

in a nut shell, The only way I could tell they were in my house was when I got home from work I had hot water! Great Job! My son said they were right on time.They invoiced me and i was able to pay it on line. I loved That.

technician arrived at appointment time, was professional, courteous. From my initial phone call to the job completion, everything went as well as you would hope it could go. I would certainly hire them again.

OJ Laughlin Plumbing Co Inc. was very good. They were willing to make an additional trip to show me how to shut off the water before I go out of town. They did not charge me for that. They showed up when they said they would. They cleaned up and did what they said they would do. It was great.

. They were easy to make an appointment with. They are punctual. The gentleman who came out was very polite. He knew exactly what he was doing. He did not create a mess. I have recommended them to many of my friends. I am so happy with their work that I will use only them in the future.
