ENVIRONMENTAL LANDSCAPING

Tory provided a detailed bid for the job after discussing what we wanted with our landscaping update. The work was completed on time and the entire crew was polite, professional, and very easy to work with. We are very satisfied with the end results and would recommend Environmental Landscaping to anyone who has a landscaping project.

We are thoroughly pleased with the work--major and minor--performed for us by Environmental Landscaping. After 23 years, the front of our house needed re-landscaping. EL was competitive, although not the lowest bid, but during the estimate walk-through, Tory Catanzaro, EL's owner, made a huge impression with his knowledge of what materials would work best with our facade and what plants would work best to create the look we wanted. We were actually so pleased as the work progressed that we added backyard and sideyard projects. After the main work was completed, Tory responded positively to my request for a small modification. Once again, we have the most outstanding yard on our block! We would use Environment Landscaping again in a heartbeat!

I had 7 contractors out to give us a bid and Environmental Landscaping was the lowest by far. They were able to come to our home to complete the work a couple weeks after the initial bid. There were 3 men doing the work and they completed in 4 hours. It looks great, they were able to use the materials we already had and brought a few blocks they had leftover from other projects without charging us any extra fees. The work looks great, the price was excellent, the work was done quickly, I would definitely recommend this company.

They were great. The guys were really nice. They are friendly and responsive when you call them. As a matter of fact I just had to call them yesterday about a problem I had with one of the trees and the guy was going to come back today. They are very responsive. The main thing is that they guarantee the work. Everything is perfect and it's just the way I wanted.

They removed debris. They changed the level of a sharply sloping yard by installing boulders and elements of a retaining wall. They paved some areas and installed an attractive step and ramp system at the side of the house. Finally, they installed an attractive metal fence, in case I get another dog, and laid down grass sod. They were unfailingly polite, told me exactly what everything would cost, showed up when they said they would, cleaned up after themselves, and finished the project with all the dispatch our changing weather would allow. I can give them my very highest recommendation.

His work was good but I haven't used them again since then.

I think they were just higher than the others and that was the only thing. Depending on the price, I might use them in the future.

Tore came out within 48 hours of me calling and asking for an estimate. He was honest about what he thought he could be accomplished in our yard, and steered us away from paying more for something that probably would not have worked as well. He kept me informed as to when his crew would be doing the work, and let me know of any delays (we got a lot of rain that week). They showed up and did the work when he said they would, did a beautiful job, and cleaned up after themselves when they were finished. We were very pleased.

Our experience with Tore's company was fantastic! We had several landscapers not return calls and some who had even started the project and left us in the middle because of the size of the project. Tore called right away, came out that day for an estimate, and personally supervised the project from start to finish. He visited daily and kept a close eye on the project. He also kept us updated on how things might look if we stayed with the original plan and what had changed along the way. Our price changed only because we changed our minds on a few features and created additional features. His crew has been with him a long time, and they are friendly, respectful, and clean. Our result was a completely transformed backyard that is used constantly. It was an unusable, overgrown space that we inherited with the house, and Tore took our vision to another level. He was honest about things such as not filling in mortar in between the flagstone because it will likely crack (and it is more expensive). We filled in the cracks with small limestone rock, and it works beautifully. We were so pleased in the end with our experience that we wanted to buy a small treat for the crew at the end, and Tore refused our offer. He was completely professional, and while dealing with him, showed us the expertise and quality products of John's Wholesale Nursery in Valley Park. If we had anything left to landscape, we'd use them again without hesitation. Our yard is stunning with the varied hardscape and plantings that Environmental did.

My wife and I couldn't be more pleased. Let me say she has NEVER been pleased with a home repair/improvement contractor in the past. Tory's professionalism, attention to detail and overall demeanor made us immediately comfortable with the company and the estimate. Our home's value has been increased. Our drainage problems remedied and our confidence in humanity has been restored. Ha! While that may be stretching it a bit, we truly are thrilled with the work Environmental has done for us. We're already on the schedule for some additional grading and landscaping in the spring.

We are pleased with the results and he charged what he quoted.
