Description of Work: English Sweep replaced a defective flue for one chimney and replaced deteriorating bricks on a second chimney. Waterproofing of the second chimney seemed to cause a condensation problem. They were prompt in evaluating the problem, taking ownership of the issue, and performing repairs. Throughout the process they were pleasant, professional, and capable. I would definitely use them again.

Most of our exterior restoration takes place after April 15th and before December 1st. We pride ourselves in workmanship that last.

The flue resurfacing is another option to restore damaged flue tile within the chimney structure. We have been working with the process for 6+ years. It is a non evasive approach and can be accomplish usually in the same day. There is a lifetime warranty when the original purchaser maintains the application with an annual evaluation. Description of Work: The company, Matt at 314-486-8187 did a inspection of chimney and advised that it did not need cleaning. He suggested just to pay for the inspection which would be $139. Per Angies List customer service I should get a refund of $199 and pay English Sweep $139 directly.

Description of Work: Checked fireplace chimney. Found that it needed grout repair via video camera inspection while homeowner looked on. Did not charge for cleaning, but gave estimate for repair. Attempted to clean out dryer vent and found that it has become disconnected in subfloor with no direct access. Did not charge for cleaning. We will use them for the chimney repair.
