 + 1 moreHe and his helper took the lower half of the garage door out, installed new panels in it and then replaced, caulked and painted it. All materials used cost extra.
Description of Work: Replaced 4 of the panels in one of my old garage doors, so that I did not have to purchase a new one that would not have matched the other door.

 + -1 moreOne of my 2 old garage doors had several panels that were rotten, but the other garage door was in good condition. Because these garage doors ( having 8 long panels) are no longer made, if I were to purchase a new door (with16 short panels), my 2 doors would not match. Since I did not want to purchase 2 new doors, I was in a bind, when Dan the Handyman suggested just replacing the 4 rotten panels in the door. I jumped on that idea,and am very pleased with the results. With the aid of another helper he was able to complete the job in 3+ hrs. All materials needed to complete the job ( wood, paint, caulk etc.) were extra. Now I have 2 matching garage doors without having to buy 2 new ones.
