+ -1 moreI found Mr. Ollums card at the Houston Do-It Center. I called him, along with several others. Mr. Ollum was the only one to call back within the next day. We arranged a day to have him look over the house to give me an estimate. I had most of the drywall already hung, but he finished hanging the small portions and fixed my mistakes. The estimate was very reasonable for a 2 bedroom, 1-1/2 bath, and very difficult ceilings. Cathedral, studio, and step ceilings. Mr. Ollum did not have the best weather to work with, but did not rush the mud to dry. He made sure the mud was completely dry before sanding. He will hang, mud, sand, and paint drywall. He also had 20+ years experience. I encourage anyone to use him.
Description of Work: He was very punctual in giving me an estimate on price and approximate time he would be able to start the job. He showed up on time, worked long hours and made sure the job was done correctly. If the drywall mud wasn't drying as it should he did NOT rush it just to finish the job. He made sure the mud was dry and ready to be sanded. I had the drywall already hung, and he made sure that he fixed any mistakes I made, so that it would look good. I had all the tape, mud, and sanding supplies that he would need. He has all his own tools and equipment.
