Hired Kenneth to remove existing deck, get permits, and frame a new deck on the back of my house. Paid him a total of $1600 ot of $1900 total. He and his crew started the job, they tore down the old deck, started framing up the new one, then disappeared. Did not remove the debris from the old deck, did not dig and pour the footings, never got the permits, and did a shoddy job on the limited framing that was done. Bottom line, less than half the job is done, he will not return, does not answer the phone, does not return emails. I now have a mess and an incomplete job after nearly paying him the full amount. And to boot, my city may not even approve the work that was done (once I go about getting the permits and inspections he never got in the first place). This guy is a non-trustworthy scammer, STAY AWAY.
