+ -1 moreI called Tuesday morning, and they could not come until Wednesday. They arrived 7:30 and worked all day until 4 while removing the old wall. They arrived Thursday at around 7 and installed dry wall and taped the ceiling. The bottom line estimate was $295 under the actual cost, though the work was done on time.
Description of Work: They demolished a wall, installed a header, moved electrical connections, and installed French Doors. They repaired a bad circuit breaker and reestablished connections.

+ 3 moreMy 130 year old home was damaged by a flood in the Spring. After many unsuccessful attempts to even get a contractor interested in the work (it was daunting task to work on "this old house") we were given the name of Matt Flagg by a friend's referral. Matt has been a blessing to work with. His estimates and project planning were timely, accurate and detailed. He's guided me through difficult decisions and offered excellent recommendations and solutions to big challenges. We jokingly tease him about a phrase he uses a lot "you know what'd be neat". :-) And they always are neat ideas! Matt's crew is also excellent. They show up on time, clean up after themselves and were always great to work with. I would recommend Flagg Enterprises to anyone!
Description of Work: Complete re-model and extensive structural work performed which included; replacement of all old rotten wood for band boards and sill plates. A re-layout of the floor plan which required new load bearing headers in order to open the space. Replacement of old floor joists and sub-flooring and leveling of remaining floors. Addition of new bathroom, walk-in closet and utility closet. New drywall and finish work throughout. New front porch stairs and back deck.
