I've had some work done in the past from Tekton and they are very professional and courteous. I'll gladly use them in the future.

He was excellent, very good worker and professional. He was good.

It is gorgeous. We have received numerous compliments from guests.

First Zach identified a low cost, high quality provider of materials needed to complete the roof. The insurance check to cover the cost of materials. He then served as the primary laborer while supervising members of our family who worked along side him. This not only cut labor cost, it allowed our teenage sons to gain this vital experience. As a home school family, it was an invaluable learning experience and we still retain the memories of working together as a family to accomplish this goal. We could not have accomplished this without Zach nor could we have afforded to upgrade the roof. Zach maintained a wonderful rapport with our sons and has a natural flair for supervising and providing instructions.

Small job but Zach did a prompt professional installation.

It didn't go. I never received a call back, so was unable to employ this company. I won't call them again.

Zach was exceptional in workmanship, timely ness, knowledgeable, efficient, was on time, neatness of work area and clean up. Zach was comfortable to be around. I look forward to employ some for any future projects.

When Zach came out to assess the work needed to convert the wood burning fireplace to a gas fireplace, he also mentioned his company offered a variety of other services and he would be glad to assist if we chose to retain him to do so. Since the home was a recent purchase and had been vacant over a year, it was in need of a lot of work. Zach removed the old fireplace, ran a new gas line, installed the new fireplace and repaired/replaced some siding on the outside of the fireplace box. In addition, he installed some glass tile around the opening of the fireplace to complete the project. We were so pleased with his work, we requested a bid to convert an area containing a dry bar overlooking the living room from the breakfast room into a closet. Since this area was next to an existing pantry, Zach made every effort to match the new closet so they looked uniformed. We are quite pleased with the finished closet as it will be a better use of space and it looks like it's been there all along. It will also provide us with additional wall space as the backside of the new closet is located in the living room. We've now moved into the masterbath and Zach is working on a bid to place tile on the floor as well as replace the existing tub and shower. We are delighted with the work Zach has performed in our home. He has been very professional and a pleasure to work with! We would definitely recommend him to others and suspect he'll be working on other projects in our home as time goes on.

Tekton Construction is owned by Zach Hunt. Zach completed the construction himself. He did an exceptional job. The fireplace works well, is beautiful and was done in an efficient manner. Existing paint and stain was matched with perfection. Zach was professional, polite, and thorough.

The primary job performed by Tekton was a roofing job, along with some other extraneous repairs and carpentry. This was an insurance settlement from the hail storms here in Missouri in May 2011. It took Tekton a while to get around to our job since the storm damage was so wide spread around the area, but quite a bit of the time between the storm and the completion of the work (May to October) was due to the insurance company. When he came out to inspect the roof, he put on a couple of quick temporary repairs to keep the roof from leaking before he ever got the job. The work performed was outstanding and very professional. The entire roofing job was completed in just over a week, in spite of the weather (at least one morning he had to wait to get on the roof due to frost). In addition to the roof exterior, there was some internal damage to a roofing truss and this was repaired very nicely as well. Also, a screen door and door jam was damaged by wind and Tekton repaired this by removing the lower 18" of the jam and replacing it, blending it in with the remaining jam (this was a tricky repair to make look nice and he did a beautiful job). Other repairs included vinyl siding and gutters. This was the second time Tekton had worked for us. He installed a wood stove for us and did a good job on that - of course that is why I contacted Tekton about my roof. He is great to work with: He comes early and just works all day, and he GETS THE JOB DONE! In other words it doesn't just drag out for ever. We hardly knew he was there unless we went out to speak with him. He cleans up before he leaves, and was good about communicating with us (letting us know when he would be here, when he would be back, etc.). The quality of the work was very good - as good as any we have had done. We are very pleased.

Zach was prompt and worked steadily until everything was done. He is really a professional, plus his price was the best.

Zach was little later than expected, but got right to work, took great care with protecting all areas around his work space. Finished in a timely manner and answered questions.

Very professional, knowledgeable, and detail oriented. It was a fairly big job but he got it done quickly and took care of everything.

The installation was quick and flawless. Tekton picked up the stove I picked out from the retailer, delivered and installed it in about 1 day's working time.(Spread over 2 days) The work was thorough and the work area was left clean. All work was completed 2 days after I contracted Tekton for the work. Early and on budget.

Very skilled, knowledgable. Gets job done quickly without sacrificing quality. Comes to job prepared. Tools and equipment in good shape and they are well equipped.

We had Zach do some work for us before and asked him to come back and work on our screened-in porch. The posts needed to be replaced and we wanted the porch to be tiled. He came when he said he would. He worked quickly but still did a really nice job. The porch looks a lot better now. He also fixed one of the screen doors that was sagging for us.

We were very pleased and have asked Zach, the owner/proprietor, to come back and do more work for us. He is going to install windows and do some tile work.

Everything was handled very well. From the initial contact to project completion. Any questions we had were answered in a very reasonable amount of time. We knew our living room would be a mess until the project was complete, but we had no idea how clean the workspace really ended up being. When work was complete nothing was left as far as messes and tools went. We have three small children and their safety was never at stake during this project. We are very pleased with the final result.

My husband and I are in our 70's. It had been getting progressively more difficult to go up and down the stairs to do the wash. I really wanted to have a washer and dryer on the main floor, but there were no hook ups. Since the work has been completed, I need only to go around the corner from our bedroom to complete all of the wash. All of the work was finished very quickly and I did not have to go without a washer and dryer or take our clothes to the laundromat while waiting for everything to be installed. The plumbing for the washer as well as the electrical for the dryer was finished quickly, efficiently and professionally. Even though this was a small job, it was given importance and was completed within the scheduled time by the workers.
