 + -1 moreTechnician arrived, dianosed, repaired and had my system up and running in under 30 minutes. The fee for the service call was very reasonable and the part was under warranty. The reason I gave them a B for pricing is that had the part not been under warranty, the technician informed me that they would have charged me $96 for a part that I could buy at a parts store for $25 or less.

Since I am considering selling my house and building a new house, I decided against geothermal for now and another vendor provided a more attractive proposal for a traditional system; however, when I build I will not hesitate with getting a proposal from this company.

 + -1 moreOverall, our experience with Peters Heating and Air Conditioning was excellent. We had bids from 2 other companies. We decided on Peters due to their professionalism during the quote process, timeliness of their bid, and suggestions on products that would best meet our needs. They were very knowledgeable and quoted several options. The work was also done in a professional and timely manner. They let us know when they would be here and were here. They kept their work areas orderly and clean. When they were finished, all debris was removed. They sent us all the paperwork needed to obtain tax credits and rebates, and sent in the information for the rebate to Cuivre River. So far the system they installed works great. Our home is more evenly heated and comfortable. I would recommend their services to anyone.

 + -1 moreFor such a major investment, they provided us with all the facts and did not try to influence our decision with anything other than facts. We ended up choosing this company because they made us aware of things that would make our system more efficient and fixed them without any additional cost. All their sales people, installers and service people were very professional and seemed highly trained on geothermal systems.
Description of Work: We had a geothermal heating and AC system that was 14 years old. The system was leaking Freon and needed to be replaced. We contacted two suppliers in our area give us bids; they were within 1% of each other, so price was not an issue. Peters was very responsive and very professional. Our initial contact with the sales person did not even feel like talking to a sales person. He asked questions about our current system; gave us info on the system they recommended and helped us with information on rebates and government tax credits. They also took all the information on the house and checked the current system capacity to make sure it was not too small or too large. It came out correctly. The service people kept us in Freon until the unit was delivered as we were in the middle of a record setting heat wave. That was done for no additional charge. The installation people removed the old system and installed the new as was expected. They also put a breaker box in at the location of the unit for safety reasons and they completely redid the plumbing to the hot water heater as it was not done in the most efficient manner on the first installation. They insulated pipes from the original installation that had not been insulated. The installation area was as clean as a mink. I felt like I should clean the basement to match (but didn't). They sent a service person out on the day after the installation to verify fluid levels after it had run for 24 hours.
