Original bid was $850 for one specific limb we felt needed to be removed. Once they were on site, we realized there were more limbs that should be removed. They were flexible and very willing to negotiate a fair price do all work needed. They were friendly, worked hard, and cleaned up the area. We will definitely call them again for future needs.

They seemed to know what they were doing and did a good job at cleaning up.

We contacted Simmons Tree Service after they were recommended by a neighbor. We recently purchased lakefront property on Lake of the Ozarks but it was overgrown with tall grass and trees. The owners met with us and really listened to what we wanted cleared. They were very professional and did a fabulous job. The area looked like a park when they were finished. We will be hiring them again in the spring to clear some of our property on the other side of our road that goes to the lake. We cannot thank them enough for their wonderful service, affordable pricing and super job!

They came on time, and did the job right and quick. When they left, the yard was cleaner than when they got there. Everything wasn't great. They were supposed to come back in the fall and take some dead trims/ leaves out on a separate contract. I wanted a bunch of dead wood taken out of the trees, and they never showed up. I paid them for the first job; it was my agreement that they were supposed to come back and do the rest of it which was the second part of the job and they never did. The price was moderate. They did a great job, and the quality was excellent. They didn't come back. They were there on time when they said they would be. I would not use them again in the future.

I was approached directly by Danny Simmons about a large dead oak tree standing right next to our house and overhanging the roof a bit. He gave me an estimate on the spot and left me his card; I made an appointment several days later. Danny showed up with a team of several guys, a bit late. During a phone conversation the night before, I' was told they'd be here between 10am and 11am- I called at 12:30 and he said they were on the way. I asked when they arrived, where they intended to drop the tree and then went to the other side of the house (away from the worksite) to watch. Minutes after they arrived, Danny had already removed all the smaller limbs from the tree and tied the guide ropes to it. The rest of his crew moved my wooden planter boxes that were in the way so they wouldn't get damaged. Once everything was clear and the lines were secure, they dropped the trunk. It landed in a very narrow space- EXACTLY where they said it would, without doing damage to any of my plants, flower beds or other yard structures around it. Two of the men worked with chainsaws to cut it up, while the others removed the guidelines and got the truck and shredder into position to load the wood. They removed all the large pieces, fed the smaller limbs into a shredder, then brought out a large tarp and raked up all the remaining smaller debri. Danny asked whether I wanted the stump cut off low or if I'd like to leave a bit of it. I opted to leave it higher so that it can be used as a seat or a birdbath later. He cut it level for me in case I decide to sit something on it. They put the flower bed structures back that they'd removed and even brought out a leaf blower to clear the porch and sidewalk of any remaining limbs, leaves and sawdust. All of this took less than 2 hours! Overall, I am very happy with the job, the time they took to do it, the condition they left my yard in and their professionalism. I would hire them again in a heartbeat or recommend to anyone.
