They started with a very through review, took photos t show us and provided a detailed estimate. They came to make repairs at the scheduled time and spent the day removing the old shingles and replacing them. They also cleaned up the mess.

Other than having to reschedule due to over-booking, this company was superb. They took pictures of before, during, and after to ensure that work was being done. The salesperson followed up after the work was done to ensure we were satisfied. In short, Bone Dry has become my roofing company of choice.

This is a great trustworthy company. We had used them over the years for patching jobs and when it was time for a new roof, had no qualms about hiring them. They completed the job in a day and a half and cleaned up after themselves completely.

Bone Dry Roofing of Saint Louis did a terrific job on my roof - Salesperson was Curt - arrived on time and had excellent follow up. He took several pictures and did a great job of walking me through the installation process. Install date was communicated in advance by Jim the production manager - Foreman Chris and Jamie - introduced themselves and texted photo of their team. Work was done in a timely manner and clean up was thorough - Photographs were texted throughout the installation allowed me to see the progress - 40 ft of roofing boards were identified as damaged and the photos were a big help in the decision to replace them. Ron the General Manager was accessible and did the final walk through of the work. I would recommend Bone Dry Roofing to anyone in need of a roof replacement or repair. Work was completed on house and free standing garage in 1 1/2 days. Gutters were also cleaned. One bit of advice for the home owner - schedule your satellite recalibration in advance of the install - in my case Direct TV was 4-7 days out on the service calendar

We were delayed almost a week due to another job and multiple days of rain. It was very frustrating. However, I realize that the entire week delay was not all their fault.

All appointments kept on time. Called always to let us know they are coming. Hands-on involvement by General Manager-Owner who reviewed accuracy of prelim estimates. All work done as agreed. All can lights in attic covered before pouring attic insulation. Production Manager was hands-on. Quality control done after all jobs done.

The company came back several times and the leak is still not fixed.

Excellent job. Both times the crew/work was led by foreman Scott Galvin. Quick, efficient, clean. Highly recommend this company.

Bone Dry St. Louis is an outstanding roofer and I would highly recommend them. I had a new impact resistant (Duration Storm) 50 year Owens Corning roof installed by another Platinum contractor 17 months ago. They did a fairly good job, but I had one issue with workmanship around a skylight and since that contractor is no longer in business, Bone Dry stepped up and took care of everything. It was covered by warranty. I should add that I looked at many roof manufacturers and types, including a lifetime steel roof, and I'm glad I stuck with OC due to their history and warranty. OC was very easy to work with and had an online site that tracked the claim. I want to thank Laura at OC, and Derek, Jim and Bob at Bone Dry for all their help and professionalism. Very impressive!

I've used Bone Dry in the past and had a good experience, so when I needed the roof repaired I didn't hesitate to call them. They were prompt to come out and provide the estimate. Bob Phillips from Bone Dry arrived on time and completed the repairs quickly, providing photos of the repairs when completed so I didn't have to go up and look myself. Bone Dry is the best I have found for any roof related work.

I used Bone Dry Roofing in the past for some minor repairs and had very good experiences with them. Recently, our roof reached the end of it's life and we had to have it replaced. I called Ron @ Bone Dry as well as another reputable company for a bid. Once again, Bone Dry came in with a reasonable price so I moved forward with them and I'm very pleased all around with their work. I would absolutely recommend this company.

I wouldn't often leave a review for a simple inspection (without needing to go further and have work done.) However, the guys that came out from Bone Dry impressed me. They were professional, on-time, not pushy, and very pleasant to deal with. Fortunately for me my roof didn't need service, but I can guarantee I will call these guys if/when I need roof work.

Called and requested a roof inspection for possible repair/replacement. When they came out they apologized and said that they don't work on flat roofs. That the person that took my phone call should have asked that question. However, they went up anyways, took pictures, offered their thoughts on the damage and suggested another company to call!

We had Bone Dry install a roof on our home in December 2016. We were extremely pleased with their work. I had called several companies with good ratings on Angie's list to get roof bids. I was most impressed with Ron Russelburg of Bone Dry. My husband and I work for Hermann London as realtors and when inspecting the roof Ron mentioned that he had done work for another realtor at Hermann London in the Property Management Division. I contacted that realtor after meeting with Ron and he recommended him highly. So that recommendation along with Ron's thorough bid were the reason we chose Bone Dry. When it came time to install the roof the project leader, Chris, and his crew were friendly, professional, and efficient. They were able to complete the job in a day even though they had to replace quite a bit of damaged decking after tear off. Pics of the decking were texted to my phone so that we could see what they had to replace. This was a great way to show transparency of work to us the customer. I really appreciated it. The crew ended up cleaning up the yard in the dark. When Ron stopped by two days after install to inspect the roof I showed him a small bit of debris and some nails that had not been picked up. He promptly called one of his crew to come back to get the yard back to being ship shape. I was impressed by Bone Dry's excellence in craftsmanship, efficiency, quality, customer service, communication, and their swift response to meeting our needs as a customer. We will definitely use their company again! I feel I can refer them to family, friends, and real estate clients alike with confidence!

I appreciated the honesty and thoroughness he provided on the evaluation. I would not hesitate to call Bone Dry for any roofing issues I have in the future.

Indicated it couldn't be patched and needed to be replaced

Extremely efficient and careful workers. They responded immediately to provided emergency coverage of the leaking skylights and later removed two 35-year old skylights without damaging surrounding materials and installed state-of-the art skylights. They were very clear before the service, making sure I understood exactly what needed to be done. I particularly appreciated that they went up on the roof before coming in to talk to me about what needed to be done. Another contractor never went up on the roof but said "if we find any unforeseen problems that will be extra cost...well everything would be "unforseen," of course because they didn't look. Bone Dry was a superb choice and I highly recommend them for any roof work.

Instead of fixing our 18 window screens on location, they took them back to their shop (even after my husband had asked "Bobby" not to do so) and lost one of them. We were told by "Brian McNamee" they could get the window screens off from the outside and we didn't have to be home. "Bobby" showed up and told us he had to get inside to remove them ... we were getting ready to leave and had to change our plans. When he removed the screens, he dropped big clumps of dirt and debris all over our carpet and floor in every room. It made a huge mess. Eventually, the screen was either found or replaced ... it was never explained to us. Then there was the fascia on the front porch ... After "Bobby" "repaired" the porch fascia, it was covered with new dents marks and not centered over our porch like before. Frankly, the new fascia looked worse than the original hail damaged fascia. After Brian and Richie inspected the work, they agreed it was not quality work and they replaced it. Also, in the course of the repairs, I talked to Brian McNamee about our downspouts. I understood that all the downspouts were going to be replaced, but then noticed that one of them was not. Brian explained that only 4 of the 5 downspouts had been on the original insurance estimate. I asked how much would it be to add the other and after he measured the downspout with his laser, he told me $140. My husband and I agreed to that because we wanted all of the downspouts to replaced at the same time. Brian said he would send me the estimate in writing and then we could schedule it. I never heard back so last week, I contacted Nicole Price at Bone Dry. I was told that Brian had moved to New Mexico and no longer worked for the company. I explained that the last time Brian was out here, he quoted us $140 for the remaining downspout. It was my understanding that it was going to be done with the others when the roof was replaced, but Brian said that it was not included in the original estimate (even though it clearly needed to be replaced). Nicole talked to Ron who said that their minimum gutter work fee is $400, but they would do our one remaining downspout for $295.00 because we were PRIOR customers. The total for 4 replaced downspouts was $438.60 which makes $295.00 seem awfully expensive. I am very disappointed by their response and I sent a follow up email to Nicole expressing my disappointment. We spent over $9000.00 with this company and unfortunately I now feel unable to recommend Bone Dry Roofing to friends, family, and neighbors.

It went well. Bone Dry Roofing was honest and detailed about costs. They are not the least expensive, but the quality of their work makes them an excellent investment. They showed up on time and worked until the project was finished. I was informed of the status of the project at least twice a day. They were easy to reach if I had a question. They worked effectively with our homeowner's insurance company. They cleaned up well when the project was finished.

"Roof leaking after first heavy rain on the portion they worked on. There were never any leaks before they did the work. We are attempting to resolve the issue. I will be happy to give a positive review if the leak is fixed, If the leak is not fixed, the review will be a big negative.

The roofing work done by Bone Dry was done very well. They replaced the roof with an Owens Corning Duration architechural shingle that looked very good. The had to replace only one piece of plywood during the process. They also added an additional passive turbine, added two bath vents to the roof, removed an old dish antenna, and reroofed a shed in the back yard with matching product. Other than taking an extra day everything went well until the final inspection. On the front of the house on an pitched opening over the front porch, in an area of maximum visability, they left a strip of wood exposed on both sides of the front of the arch. The explanation was that the new drip edge they installed was not as tall, that is, did not come down from the roofline to cover the front fascia as far as the pieces that they removed. The fascia that was uncovered did not fully cover the front boards and a gap emerged parallel to the roofline going three feet down either side of the pitched front surface. They said that they would not fix the issue because it was caused by the fact the the original fascia installation should have covered up higher and since they didn't install it it was not their problem. I argued that it should be part of the "finishing" the job in total since installing the roof caused the gap to be exposed, but they disagreed. I now have two areas of raw wood exposed to the elements. I've called six siding companies in the past five weeks a total of 17 times without finding someone to fix the problem because the job is too small. I rated Bone Dry as a D in professionalism because I believe that they left a job uncompleted and that, to me, is unprofessional. I could not believe that would do 98% of a job in what I assume is an excellent fashion (I believe that they did a very good job on the roof surface and associated attachements) only to leave one very visible uncompleted task. I indicated that I would not hire them again because they are one of the very few roofers who do not also do siding. That's probably my fault for making assumptions. When I signed the contract I was told that they did not do siding, but that they could take care on small repairs. Since my problem now is only a few inches top to bottom and probably six total feet total in combined length it seems that it would be a "minor problem" for a roofer and would qualify as a minor repair. My problem now is that the work constitutes too small of a job for someone else to complete so finding anyone interested in doing this "minor" roofing issue is a "major" problem. It does bother me that I spend over $10,000 and now can't get the last few dollars worth of work completed. Again, I would rate all of the rooftop work very highly. It's too bad that the fact that they are not a full service roofer as most of the other companys are caused me to have to rate their professionalism in not finishing this job as poor. At the very least I would have expected them to contact someone to finish their work or at the very, very least to have a recommendation in hand for someone for me to contact, even if I was going to have to pay for the completion of the project myself. I did make a final call this past week to the Sales Representative to see if anything further could be done, but I did not receive a return call.

Very well. They were able to start within two weeks of our accepting their bid. They had a crew of six with a working crew leader and expected to complete the work in a day. They needed two days because of unexpected problems with our roof. They finished the work on a Saturday. We ended up with two full days of thorough work for the quoted price. They were hard-working and competent. The roof looks great.
