+ 0 moreThe water heater had followed in the company and to replace the new water heater which is state manufacturing. They are the ones who have made the water heater. They did it without any questions and no charge to me. I am very satisfied with them. Safe manufacturing for water heaters are lots of sure. I like the guy. We just get it all. I like the work that he says. He was very conscientious about it. We got a bigger company like classic care.
Description of Work: I used Agers Heating & Air Conditioning. A couple of months ago, they put in a hot water heater for us.

+ -1 moreBrian was outstanding. The flu pipe on my house took a direct hit by lightening and fried the circuit board in our air handler. Brian was very prompt in his response. Called at 10 a.m. the following morning and he was at my house by 330 p.m. that afternoon. He did a quick diagnostic of the unit and flu stack and made recommendations on fixing it. He provided quotes that were cost competitive. Unfortunately, we had to file a claim with our homeowners insurance and they made us use their preferred provider. Brian wen the extra mile by reassuring me that the company I was going to be dealing with would do a great job and they were very reputable. You don't see that often in competitive business, so I really appreciated it. I would highly recommend Agers for any Heating and A/C repairs you need done. We are going to upgrade out unit to a high efficiency unit someday and Brian will be the first call I make!

+ -1 moreI am very please with the performance of the new units. The venting from the furnance is now PVC rather than the original metal venting which left white residue and very hot exhaust venting. The AC outside is much larger and processes more air allowing the house to stay cool. I can't wait to see it keep the house cool next summer when it is 100+ degrees. Agers did also recommend to leave the blower on 24x7 to reduce the stress of starting and stopping on the motor along with keeping a constant low air flow throughout the house. Description of Work: The house is 35 years old with the furnance and AC estimated at approximately 17-20 years old. This summer's extreme heat in June, July and August created an environment where the AC and furnance blower could not cool the house. Indoor temperatures were upper 90s during the day and fans were being used throughout the house to no avail. The AC was providing cool air at the unit however was not providing cool through out the 2 story 2500 sq ft house. I had the furnance blower fixed several times with another company. Agers was able to show me with new state of the art monitoring tools how the AC was operating and what was occuring within the house to push the air - - which the air being pushed through the house was not occurring. I agreed to replace both the AC and furnance to gain the Laclede Gas and Lennox rebates. This required going with the 96% efficient units. I purchased the XC17 AC, EL296UH 2stage Variable speed furnance, CX34 Evaporator, Merv 16 20x25 air filter, UV Light and April Aire700 humidifier. The units were installed in one day with final clean-up and removal of old unit the following morning.
